    • Trip to Mysore

Karnataka trip (Bangalore-Mysore-Ooty) had gives us lot of energy , peace of mind and refreshing our soul. Its very nice experience with this trip. Good Points 1. Cab driver was Cooperative and helpful person. 2. Cab driver suggest good spots in this journey. 3. Hotel Grand vanam was good. 4. Ooty and Mysore spots are good for tourist in June month. 5. overall experience was nice. Bad Points 1. Corporate host destination didn't share tour plan with cab driver. 2. Hotel The Baron in Ooty gives bad service. Temperature of Ooty was cold so we need hot water for bath, but hotel was unable to provide us hot water 24x7 . My hotel room was placed above kitchen cum dining hall so lot of noise (exhaust fan ) were came to room . Its irritating experience. 3. Trip was not completed as per plan . lot of changes we made while travelling. 4. All tourist spots were closed in Ooty in between 5.30pm to 6.30pm . Travel triangle should intimate this type of information with travelers.

My trip was for mysore and ooty ( pickup and drop @ Bangalore ) not so great experience. Plus points:: > Good hotels and good budget. > Early morning pickup from airport as requested. > Cab Driver for mysore and mysore sightseeing. Minus points:: > We don't want to visit tea factory, rose garden but local agent was forcing me to visit these places, nothing was on plan for ooty trip, i want to visit avalanche lake in ooty but driver/agent was not ready to go ( though we get 1000 km per day , these people only go for city sightseeing ) > Local travel agent of corp-orates host destination was very bad, the day we left from Ooty to Bangalore airport , though we have reached before 9PM @ Airport, agent asking driver to collect extra 1500 Rs from us. > Ooty driver was asking for tolltaxes charges, parking charges, highway charges ( though it was included in my package ). > i also paid Bangalore airport parking charges . Overall poor experience , will think twice if i ever want to go with corporate host destination agents.

    • Trip to Mysore

This is just my honest opinion. The trip was pretty good. The hotels at Mysore (Hotel Villa Park) and Ooty (Mount view Heritage Hotel) were awesome, whereas hotel AL-Wesal International at Coorg was just OK. The staff were nice in the hotels. We are thankful to both Bhuvana and Swami as they were very prompt in replying. But we got disappoint with our driver Umesh, especially the trip to Ooty and Coonoor was a disaster. He was more worried about finishing the day off and saving the fuel. Good part about the driver: Expert in driving. Bad part about the driver: 1. He gives too many advises. For example, the final day was planned for Coonoor in the itinerary and he refused to take us there. We requested him politely but still he had his plans to ignore it. I needed to call the agency on the final day and he got even angry and stubborn with us saying that there is nothing in Coonoor. Then I had to force him to go there. Then we wanted to see tiger hill in Coonoor, which he has only shown us from a distance and refused to take us there. 2. One day we requested him to go to shopping, which was in the itinerary but he refused even we had a good amount of the time left in the day and he took us to hotel around 4 PM. 3. At one of the tea Gardens in Ooty, even he told us to pay the parking charge. Although it was not costly but it shows his insincerity. Although we are happy with the trip, I won't recommend the driver.

I booked cab for 6 days. Mysoor-Coorg-OOty -Coonoor. Driver was experienced and well aware of destination. He had good knowledge of various historical events. Car was clean and nice. We enjoyed a journey a lot. Only problem we faced is, driver didn't have enough money to fill the tank on return journey. He said his manager has not paid him sufficient amount. He wanted make some alternate arrangement in his friend's cab and we were waiting for his friends cab at Mysore for almost 1 hr. Finally, his friend didn't appear and he dropped us at almost last minute of our flight departure. Our flight was at 12:05 AM and we reached airport at 11.35 pm. It was only horrible thing happened to us. I was worrying that we will miss our flight. we didn't even go to washroom for 5 hrs from Mysoor to Banglore as we were frightened to miss flight due to delay. Apart from this incident overall sightseeing was good. We expect Chill Memories need to be very careful while planning and allocate sufficient amount to drivers as we have paid full amount for our journey. So driver will not fall shortage of funds. If this incident can be avoided I would have given full rating to Agency.
