The ticket price for the Vaishno Devi temple is nil, which means there are no entry fees. Though there are no Vaishno Devi entry fees, you need to pay for the porter or mule services, in case if you are using to assist you with your luggage.

Also, the Vaishno Devi helicopter price for one way, from Katra to Sanjichhat is around Rs 1,005 whereas the cost of booking both ways for the same route in around Rs 2,010. One helicopter will only accommodate 5 to 6 people in one go and takes around 10 minutes.

The hotels were 3 star and charging 7k per night in Gulmarg was not good. Had to carry bags due to road blocked by snow, cigarate buds in bed, no TV working, heater was small and making noise. The hotel near lal chowk was too missing TV and no care for customer, no cleaning.
