How To Reach Mangaladevi Temple

Mangaladevi Temple is located at a distance of about 130 kilometres from Madurai. A lot of jeeps are available to the temple from Kumily. This 15 kilometers long path from Kumily to Mangaladevi Temple is a patchy road. However, most of the pilgrims prefer to undertake the climb uphill. Mangaladevi Temple is at a distance of 7 kilometres from Pazhiyankudi.

It is said the journey to the temple is a quite a daring, yet interesting experience. One can get to the temple only via a jeep. Since the 12 km long way to the temple is adorned with thick forests and grasslands, one shall also get an opportunity to witness the vivid flora and fauna, including the delightful Nilgiri Tahr.

The travel agent was very good. She communicated clearly and provided support through out. Very helpful and did not disturb on odd hours. The cab driver was also very good. Only issue was that he did not understand English and Hindi so sometimes communication was difficult.

Very wrong info was given by the agent. Provided me Treebo hotels instead I was expecting atleast 4 start ones. Very cheap quality hotel was provided at Coorg. At last moment the hotel was changed when I made a bunch of complaints for the Treebo Elite Plaza Hotel

We would also like to appreciate our cab driver, Mr. Prajith, who made our journey even more delightful. He was very friendly, punctual, and jovial, and his driving skills were excellent.
