Kanheri Caves Timings

Timings of Kanheri Caves for tourists are 7:30 am to 5:00 pm on all days of the week from Tuesday-Sunday. It remains closed on Mondays. However, the visiting timings for Kanheri Caves are 9 am to 12.30 pm and 2 pm to 5.30 pm. The average duration that can be spent by tourists in Kanheri caves is 1 hour. Kanheri Caves park is open for pass holders from 6.30 pm. Get tickets at the SGNP entrance for tourists and vehicles, and only for individuals at the entrance of the Caves. The tickets at both entrances are reasonably priced. If you are a photography freak, then cameras are charged extra.

Arranging suitable transport, comfortable hotels, and selecting the right locations was overwhelming, especially since I wasn’t familiar with the region. That’s when BackToHolidays and Shreya Rajput stepped in and completely transformed our travel experience. Shreya not only helped me plan the trip from scratch but ensured every minute detail was taken care of. She crafted a personalized itinerary based on our preferences, unlike other travel agencies that often stick to rigid, template-based plans. What truly set her apart was her proactive involvement throughout the trip. Shreya called me daily to check on our experience, ensuring that each day went smoothly and making adjustments whenever necessary. Upon our request, she even arranged a guided tour in Mumbai, further enhancing our experience. Her attention to detail, care, and exceptional customer service made the entire journey stress-free and memorable for everyone, especially our senior family members. Recommendation: The only suggestion I would have for future travelers is to spend more time in Mahabaleshwar and Panchgani during the winter months, as these locations are exceptionally beautiful and deserve extra time to explore. We had an amazing time exploring various destinations! Riding horseback to the viewpoints in Matheran was an unforgettable experience. At Lonavala, we enjoyed visiting the Ekvira Temple, Karla Caves, Bhaje Caves, Mapro Gardens, Bushi Dam and Narayani Dham Mandir. Mahabaleshwar was breathtaking with Lingmala Waterfall, Mahabaleshwar Temple, Needle View and other scenic points. The Mapro Gardens at Panchgani added a delightful touch to our trip. In Pune, the Ganpati Temple, Sinhagad Fort and Aga Khan Palace were memorable. It was truly a well-rounded and enjoyable journey! Thanks to all.
