How to reach Malaysia from Delhi

Maliondo Air, AirAsia X, and IndiGo provide nonstop flights between New Delhi and Kuala Lumpur. Travelers can book AirAsia X flight to arrive early morning at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL) while IndiGo flight departs from Delhi in the early hours of the day.

By Air: There are direct flights available between New Delhi Airport (DEL) and Kuala Lumpur Airport (KUL). Delhi to Malaysia distance by air is approximately 3800 km. It takes on an average 5 hours and 30 minutes to travel from Delhi to Malaysia by air. Most flights fly to Kuala Lumpur International Airport in the capital city of Malaysia. It is one of the busiest airports in Asia, and so is Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi. There are around 25 direct flights from Delhi to Malaysia throughout the week. Those which have one-stop, usually have a layover at Singapore Airport.

By Train: It is not possible to travel from Delhi to Malaysia via rail. However, there is railway service from Singapore’s Tanjong Pagar MRT station to Kuala Lumpur. One can travel to Singapore by air and then make the rest of the trip by train. But it is not a very convenient or economical option. The air-conditioned train ride from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur is about 7 to 8 hours. There are 3 trains departing daily from JB Central in Singapore to KL Central in Malaysia. The train fare ranges from INR 350 to 2300 for adult passengers and 200 to 1800 for children.
