How to Reach National Museum

The museum is located in the national capital of Maldives, the city of Male. Due to its location in the downtown of Male, the National Museum of Maldives is easily accessible from anywhere in the city. The museum in Sultan Park faces the Chandanee Magu street and a beautiful garden. The old building of Sultan Palace which used to house National Museum is also located only a stone’s throw away.

Public transport (mainly bus) is a very practical way to reach the museum. Walking from the hotel or the nearest jetty is also a convenient way to reach National Museum. Sultan Park Bus Station is the nearest bus station from the museum, while Presidential Jetty is the closest ferry terminal. The jetty point is about 200 meters north of the museum. The museum is very easy to find after reaching Sultan Park.
