Manali Holiday Package: Overview
This 3 nights, 4 days Manali holiday package is the short, done-for-you version of the classic Kullu-Manali trip. You start with an overnight Volvo from Delhi, spend two full days on the ground covering the temples, valleys and snow points that most people come to Manali for, and finish with the Naggar and Kullu side of the valley before heading home. Manali sits at about 2,050 m on the banks of the Beas, so even in summer the mornings are cool and the drives are scenic.
The plan below is fixed enough to book in one click and loose enough to reshape. Every stop is customisable through your travel agent: swap the Rohtang day for a Sissu run through the Atal Tunnel when the pass is shut, add the Manikaran hot springs on the Kullu day, or upgrade the hotel. What you get in the base package is the overnight transfer both ways, three nights of hotel stay with breakfast and dinner, and a private cab for the sightseeing days, so the only thing left to decide is how much snow you want under your boots.

Day-Wise Itinerary
Day 1: Delhi to Manali (overnight Volvo)
Your trip starts in Delhi. Reach the boarding point by 5 pm to meet the group and your coordinator, and the AC Volvo pulls out at 5:30 pm sharp for the roughly 530 km run up to the hills. It is an overnight journey of about 12 to 14 hours, so settle in, and you reach Manali by early morning. If you have an hour before boarding, the Delhi street food near the pickup point is worth a detour. There is no sightseeing today, just the drive and a good night's rest on the bus so Day 2 starts fresh.
Distance: about 530 km | Travel time: 12 to 14 hours (overnight)
Day 2: Manali arrival and local sightseeing
You arrive in Manali in the morning, transfer to your hotel and check in to freshen up. After breakfast the local sightseeing begins with the Hadimba Devi Temple, a 1553 pagoda-roofed shrine set in a cedar forest a short walk from Mall Road. From there you cross the Beas to Vashisht village for its natural hot sulphur springs and the stone temple, and if you are up for a short climb, the trail to Jogini Falls starts here and takes under an hour each way. The rest of the loop covers Van Vihar, the Manu Temple and the old town lanes for shopping and cafes. Evening is free for Mall Road at your own pace.
Day 3: Solang Valley, Atal Tunnel and Rohtang Pass
After breakfast you head up the valley to Solang, about 14 km from Manali at roughly 2,560 m, the adventure hub of the trip. This is where the zorbing, paragliding, skiing, snow scooter rides and the ropeway happen, all payable on the spot as they are not part of the base package. From Solang the road climbs to the Rohtang Pass, about 51 km out at 3,978 m, for high-altitude snow and views, and on the same route the Atal Tunnel cuts through to Sissu in the Lahaul valley. At 9.02 km, the Atal Tunnel is the world's longest highway tunnel above 10,000 ft and it opened in October 2020, which makes Sissu a reliable snow-and-scenery alternative on days the pass itself is closed. You return to your Manali hotel by evening.
Good to know: Rohtang Pass needs an online permit and is usually open only from about May to November; it stays snowbound and shut through winter.
"When Rohtang is closed or the permit quota is full, we run guests to Gulaba (about 22 km out) or through the Atal Tunnel to Sissu instead. Same snow, no permit hassle, and far fewer cancellations."
Day 4: Naggar, Kullu and departure
After breakfast and check-out you make your way down the valley towards Kullu, stopping at Naggar Castle, a medieval stone-and-timber fort from around the 1460s that once served as the Kullu capital and now houses a heritage stay and the Roerich art collection nearby. Closer to Kullu you reach the Beas rafting stretch around Pirdi, where you can take a white-water run if the season allows. There is time for the Jagatsukh temple and a shawl-weaving unit on the way before you are transferred to your boarding point for the overnight journey back to Delhi. Travellers who want to extend the day often add Manikaran Sahib in the Parvati valley, about 80 km on, for its gurdwara and hot springs; tell your agent in advance so the cab day is planned around it.

Cost and Cancellation Policy
This 3 nights 4 days Manali package starts from Rs 17,000 per person for the land portion on twin-sharing, and the final quote depends on your travel dates, hotel category and group size. Because it is a marketplace booking, you get multiple quotes from verified agents and can compare before you commit, which is how travellers usually land a lower fare than a fixed online price.
Free date changes and customisation are available before your booking is confirmed. Once confirmed, cancellation charges depend on how close to the travel date you cancel, and peak-season hotel or transport bookings may carry their own non-refundable component. Your agent shares the exact cancellation window and refund breakdown in writing before you pay, so the terms are clear before you confirm.
