The hotels were good and clean. With professional staff. However they were all very far away from city center. In case of gulmarg the hotel was about 13 km away from the intended location which changes the topography and ecology of the region. The travel agent also forgot to pay to the hotel causing unnecessary delays.

Me and My family of 4 Adults n 2 Kids visited Kashmir on Feb12th 2020. Mr. Aqib of Kashmir Holidays arranged the trip very well. After reaching Kashmir, Mr.Parvez Ahmed (Driver) picked us from Airport and he was very good and helpful during our 5days trip. The only issue we faced was in Eden Resort (Pahalgam) where necessary heating was not there in room also proper power backup too was not there. Apart from that we are very happy with the arrangements. Gulmarg Snowfall was best memories will cherish

Awesome experience in Peacock Houseboat on Day 1 with superb food. Then we witnessed the beauty of Kashmir on remaining days. Wonderful scenic beauty in Srinagar, Pahalgam, Gulmarg and Sonamarg. Our trip was wonderfully organised by Peacock Holidays and team - Ms Saima Azad and Mr Aakash Parray. Ms Saima Azad is a wonderful lady who is concerned more than tourists about their trip, plans and safety. She was in regular touch with our driver about our tour plans and our safety. All the planned hotels were very good. We only faced food quality issues in Hotel Wild Flower Resort in Pahalgam. Rest all hotels were absolutely good. We found best property in Sonamarg i.e. Hotel Rah Vilas. Our driver cum guide cum friend cum travel companion Mr Aakash Parray is a also wonderful person with great sense of humor and responsibility. He briefs us about all the tourist points and cover all points in time. He helped us in purchasing from genuine shops also. Thanks to Peacock Holidays and team - Ms Saima Azad and Mr Aakash Parray for making our vacations as our lifetime memorable Kashmir Trip. Peacock Houseboat, Srinagar Hotel Rah Vilas, Sonamarg Ms Saima Azad and Mr Aakash Paaray.

Travel Triangle is very good. But not fully satisfied with Agent. I would like to share my experience in Kashmir trip. Pros: * Arrangements were good and driver came on time everyday. * Driver was OKAY and good part he gave his alternate local sim which we used in our trip. Cons: * Agent clearly told me that we have to use local vehicle in Pahalgam only. Actual scenorio is you have to use local vehicle for sightseeing in all places like Gulmarg, Sonamarg, Pahalgam where agent will not inform you about that. We had a experience in Gulmarg and inquired this to Agent. They answered as if they don't know about this and will say deal with driver. Surprised!!!!! To whom I paid ??? Agent or Driver ???? * Please don't ever do shopping while you are on the way to any place and clearly say to driver will do shopping while return coz he will stop in shops where he has link. You won't be knowing the timings and there may be chance to miss some places in your trip. Finally Agent will say all coz of you as if we asked the driver to stop for shopping and agent will react they don't know anything about this. * It was clearly mentioned in itinerary that day 3 will be Gondola ride but agent told as you are late you didn't have time for Gondola ride on Day 2. Local guide in Gulmarg clearly told me even if you would have come early you won't be able to enter Phase II in Gulmarg as it will be closed around 2 pm in april month. Right time to go to Gondala ride is in morining arounnd 10 am and will enjoy Phase I and Phase II ( approx. 4 - 5 hrs ). Note : Srinagar to Gulmarg itself 2 hours... My suggestion is to stay in Gulmarg to enjoy Gondala next day. * Don't accept any activity at the entrance of any place as they will charge 5 to 10 times more. Better have a walk and there will be many persons with reasonable price and still you can bargain. * Better to pay the full amount before starting your trip if you have plan to pay through your credit or debit card in agent office. They have machine where you need to enter PIN and OTP which you will receive in your register number. Agent didn't tell me about this OTP. Make sure you have your register mobile number in postpaid connection to avoid this issue. * Agent will track you from driver whether you are opting any activities, sightseeing etc.

The hotels provided were good. The package was good. However, when we had booked the trip, no one from Travel Triangle or Kashmir Boulevard mentioned that 18th April was election day and everything would be closed, otherwise we could have rescheduled our trip. Our day at Srinagar was wasted as everything was closed on the 18th April'19. No site seeing could be done and it would have been the audacity of the travel agency to give discount or any other sort of offer for the day loss in our trip but sadly , that did not happen. Our hotel booked in Srinagar which was Hotel Montreal which was shown as 4 Star hotel was on the way where the road was blocked that day due to elections. However, we were accommodated in another hotel called Solar Residency which is also a 4 Star hotel but we were asked to pay Rs 500 extra for that. Now, one thing I didnt understand is when a 4 Star hotel had been booked for our stay at a fixed package, why did we have to pay an extra amount for a same category hotel that we had to change. So travellers , beware of the Stars shown as even the Stars may have a category of their own. One more suggestion I would like to give Kashmir boulevard is to keep good, friendly and pleasant nature drivers who also need to keep their cars clean. Otherwise, Kashmir is an awesome place to visit and the people are very nice.

False information provided , and some activities were promised but was not provided. Cancellation of one traveler is not handled well , not refunded untill now and followup is still going on. Itinerary planning could have been better with a lot of extra information, however that costed us a lot within the trip and we were given an opinion everything is covered but was not. Hotel was good but the cab wasn't though the driver was okay. Everything was nice but what I like most was hotel and their staff's behaviour was very cordial. Houseboat was okay, but I would say that in future if you cater someone to Kashmir please don't book a houseboat for a single day rather go for hotel. Thanks Vikrant

The Kashmir Trip from 3rd May to 8th May was amazing. Would like to thank Travel Triangle Mr. Umair Bhatt from Pine Leaf Travels. All the hotels booked are very good & the food was excellent. The tour was as planned & Umair Bhatt helped us a lot & provided valuable suggestions. Just be careful with horse riders in Sonmarg, they tend to charge more, get in touch with Travel agency before you book a horse ride.

We recently have availed Travel Triangle's (and Kashmir Boulevard - the local travel agency) service to visit Srinagar and other places around, here's a summary of our experience: First off, thanks to Travel Triangle for their excellent support throughout the trip. Their support stopped us from getting ripped off by the travel agents and tour guides at Gulmarg. Miss Deepti and her manager (forgot his name, sorry!) have been a great support for us throughout. Coming to Kashmir Boulevard - the local travel agency that co-ordinated at ground level. We had to face many last moment itinerary changes which we were not informed by the travel agent - Miss Saba. On our very first day, we had to stay at Gulmarg in a 3-star hotel (or we were informed so). But we were not even notified that we were to stay at a different hotel. We only realized it when the driver took us to the alternative - Mama's Palace. No offense to Mama's Palace, the hospitality was extremely good. Staff was really polite and supportive. On our second day, our schedule was to stay at Young Golden Palace Houseboat. Instead, we were taken to a houseboat called Jamaica. In both of these cases, we were not even given the courtesy of informing us (forget an apology) in advance about the change. Just after the first change of hotel, we confronted the matter with Miss Saba and we were told that it was an 'upgrade' and no need to worry about it. We had no other choice than trusting that. But when it happened the second time, after seeing that houseboat, we really doubt that it was actually an upgrade. We felt we were taken for granted - the last thing you expect when you paid that huge sum. And at last, I really feel the urge to use the strongest vocab to describe the driver we were assigned to! Mr.Bilal, supposedly the owner of the travel chain who happens to manage 11 other guests the same day! Anyway, right after he picked us from the airport while taking us to Gulmarg, he dominated us. He overrode our travel choices, insisted on his own. He stopped his car at the base of Gulmarg hill, told that his car is not allowed up there, and we need to take another cab, also rent gumboots, jackets, and gloves (though we had jackets and gloves, he told us that it has snowed heavily and we really need gumboots), and that we require a guide to roam there. Even before we think, he had already spoken to of the guides (a pure conman, I tell you!) and arranged 'a special vehicle' that took us to the hilltop. We later observed that all vehicles were plying to the hilltop (including private vehicles. Forget SUVs, we even saw a couple of Omnis). It was at that moment we realized that we were being bluffed. But it was too late. The special vehicle demanded 700 rupees, the guide took another 700, rented gumboots cost 400. While I accept that it was informed to us before in the T&C of Travel Triangle that guides are not necessary, the driver insisted so much so that I now feel he was part of those con artists, all along. Right at that moment, we stopped trusting the driver, called up TT, spoke regarding the issue, escalated and finally we made an arrangement that we pay 700 rupees less than what we had to pay (because the driver didn't take us to the hilltop when he had to). The driver was not punctual at all. We wanted to cover as many places as we could right after breakfast, but he came only by 10-11 every day. Nothing changed after repeated requests to be on time. He was very dominating, had a legit reason (at least he thinks so) for his unpunctuality. As per the itinerary, he should have been available to us all day for the local sightseeing. But this 'family man' drove straight to his home after dropping us at the city center. An auto-rickshaw back to the hotel cost us another 200. Incidents like this kept happening (unpunctuality, dishonesty, bluffing). At some point, we were so frustrated with him that we started generalizing that attitude with all Kashmiris (that changed eventually when we interacted with other people). On the last day, he demanded that he needs the remaining amount in cash (the one we owed to the agency). We told him that we'd transfer online but he insisted. When we drew money from the nearest ATM and went to pay, he demanded us to add the 700 back giving us some bullshit reason why the car couldn't go there. We lost it at that moment and called up a Kashmir Boulevard staff and we were surprised to hear her agreeing with the driver. We just hated how the lady suddenly changed her stance. Then I threatened them that I'll call TT, suddenly he bowed down and accepted the money (we could see the enraging anger on his face :D ). Overall, we are happy with the Travel Triangle for their continuous support throughout the trip. And I thank you for that. And Kashmiri Boulevard - you really need to stand up to the promises you make to the guests. You showed us 3-star hotels on the brochure and made our stay at an average houseboat which did not even have a heater. And the driver! - Phew, I have nothing more to say. He ruined our opinion we had on Kashmiris.

Our greatest fears lie in the anticipations of what they say. I'ld be lying if I say I didn't have my apprehension about visiting Kashmir for the first time.. So many check post and gun totting army men only fuel our anxiety.. And then came the moment when u reach the mountains and felt snowfall.. Everything' started turning beautiful so quickly.. As they call it "Jannat"..We felt it.. Kuddos to Ms Rabia for making the trip so beautiful and a big thanks to the driver Ajaz for guiding us and making us feel so comfortable.. The best part were the people of Kashmir who were so welcoming and so caring. They even went out the way to help us.. I don't think I have seen hospitality like this ever before.. Again I would like to thank Ms Rabia for making us feel like home .. Will visit again and recommend to friends and family..

Booking was confirmed in the super delux category in Srinagar boat house, but actual provided room was delux category. No information or knowhow received from the agent about locations/site seeing we were solely depending on driver and google search. No information provided by the agent about Gulmarg ropeway booking, so we missed advance internet booking. We got ropeway ticket after paying extra money at Gulmarg. Except payment request there was no communication from agent. Hotel booking in Gulmarg was 20 Km far and there was no proper wi-fi connectivity. Except this trip was good and we are also happy with the service of driver and his efforts to make trip memorable.
