We had a good experience with travel triangle. Farah was extremely helpful, very polite and honest. The hotels were good, except at kolahoi pehelgam there was no lift so it got little troublesome and at downtown srinagar the food was very average and the services were not upto the mark. The spread and the taste could have been much much better and the housekeeping was not prompt. Other than that the hotels were good. The cab and the cab driver were below expectations.

The hotels provided were good. The package was good. However, when we had booked the trip, no one from Travel Triangle or Kashmir Boulevard mentioned that 18th April was election day and everything would be closed, otherwise we could have rescheduled our trip. Our day at Srinagar was wasted as everything was closed on the 18th April'19. No site seeing could be done and it would have been the audacity of the travel agency to give discount or any other sort of offer for the day loss in our trip but sadly , that did not happen. Our hotel booked in Srinagar which was Hotel Montreal which was shown as 4 Star hotel was on the way where the road was blocked that day due to elections. However, we were accommodated in another hotel called Solar Residency which is also a 4 Star hotel but we were asked to pay Rs 500 extra for that. Now, one thing I didnt understand is when a 4 Star hotel had been booked for our stay at a fixed package, why did we have to pay an extra amount for a same category hotel that we had to change. So travellers , beware of the Stars shown as even the Stars may have a category of their own. One more suggestion I would like to give Kashmir boulevard is to keep good, friendly and pleasant nature drivers who also need to keep their cars clean. Otherwise, Kashmir is an awesome place to visit and the people are very nice.

Houseboat was in a pathetic condition. We went there with so much enthusiasm but u know, unfortunately all dreams shattered Hermitage hotel at Pahalgam was the best part of trip. Scenic beauty of chandanwadi and betab Valley was mesmerizing. Mr Sayeed did his best to serve us in the entire trip. He was very helpful in suggesting us various things. Ms Bismah also remained in touch with us through out the trip.

Amit's 5 days trip to Kashmir

It was our second time around at Srinagar .. the first time was way back in 2009 and boy was there a difference .. yes indeed .. last time it was summers at Kashmir and this time we landed in thick winters .. so the landscape was very different .. the green and the colourful Kashmir was turned into a monochrome screen .. with predominant white colour .. unlike last time when the star attraction was Srinagar and Pahalgam this time around sonamarg and Gulmarg took our breath away .. amongst all these changes one thing though was constant .. the warmth and hospitality of the Kashmiri people .. we had a terrific driver in hilal and a wonderful tour manager in saheba .. coming on to stay .. last time around we decided to extend our trip by one more day to relive the pleasure of staying in the house boat but this time around the hotels were far better than the houseboats .. probably winters are not meant for house boat stays .. it seemed the houseboats were preparing for the peak summer season and were a wee bit neglected .. the travel around Kashmir was very comfortable and we couldn’t have asked for a better driver than hilal .. very prompt, punctual and approachable .. and so was saheba who worked behind the scenes to improve upon our tour in all ways possible .. we came to Kashmir with an single agenda of enjoying the winters and snow and boy we did enjoy thoroughly .. both sonamarg and Gulmarg were just amazing with each having its own charm .. the ride to sonamarg had the Indus River as our constant companion with a dash of green trees always at short distance .. while Gulmarg stood out with its vast expanses of white snow and the gondola ride .. to sum up one has to decide in advance which Kashmir one wants to visit .. the Kashmir of summer of that of winters with each having their distinct advantages and USP. also the itinerary at Kashmir would suitably change according to the season .. Kashmir has witnessed a lot of infrastructure improvements with a plethora of new hotels available to choose from .. and again there are personal preferences .. to stay near the dal lake it to stay in the city .. i would recommend people to have an open mind to enjoy what Kashmir has to offer .. to simply put , Kashmir is a wonderful place irrespective of the season.. with the Kashmiris being the perfect hosts .. wonderful memories and a desire to come back to relive a different experience all over again .. The evening walk in snow at Gulmarg is a memory which we will cherish for a lifetime ..

Overall it was good experience. Only last hotel stay was big disappointment. Our last night stay was in house boat in Srinagar. Boat experience was good, however basic necessities were missing. Drinking water was paid, and no water given by default in the room. Room heater which was very basic necessities in Srinagar in the winter, was not given to us, and when asked, they charged money for that. After all these, there was no honeymoon cake and candle light dinner given to us which was a part of our package. Which was very disappointed and mood killing for our honeymoon.
