Trip was well organised by Farha Naqvi from TT and pooja negi from holiday excel All Hotels were good except Hotel Khardongla at Leh which was below standard , meals were also below standard and service was also not good. Hotel Barula at Kargil and Tent Stay at Pangong was really good. Tempo Traveler driver Namgial was very helpful and coordinating.

Overall it was a good trip. There are few things which they should take care with responsibility. We travelled from Srinagar to Ladakh by road with halt in kargil. It was excellent until then. As we reached ladakh, we were not updated about our travel for the next 4 days by the local travel agent. He did not even have the courtesy to call even once to know if we were alright during the entire duration of the ladakh trip. What worried me most was the lack of oxygen cylinders which they should have told us in ladakh and should be made mandatory for travel to pangong . The camp in pangong that is pangong sarai was the worst . We paid so much and the facilities were not even close to basic camp. They did not even have any emergency oxygen cylinders there too. We were told that all cabs will be carrying atleast a small cylinders.Travel agents don’t tell u that u don’t have to suffer in those pathetic camps and there are beautiful home stays available in pangong. So u feel like a fool there when everyone around u is in proper rooms. Drivers were excellent and cabs were good. Even on the last day ladakh agent never contacted us. And hotel zen ladakh charged us so much and gave us a room without even a fan. They gave us a table fan like in a 1 star hotel . The second night they changed the room which was better. Nubra valley

Amazing trip!! We booked a 9D Leh-Ladakh trip for 3persons from Srinagar-Kargil-Leh route with Milli group travels through Travel Traingle website. Iqra of Milli group was very considerate and extremely helpful in understanding my requirements and was always in touch. Our Srinagar driver was good & we had Innova there. However, we preferred Xylo in Ladakh and our driver Norbu from Stanzin group was a Gem!! He kept us entertaining throughout journey and drove very well & most importantly safely! The hotels Baru-La in Kargil, Ibex cottage in Pangong and Himalayan eco resort in Nubra were good in terms of food & deluxe rooms. Hotel K2 inn in Srinagar had small space not comparable to deluxe rooms, while Hotel Kidar in Leh had good rooms but the food was not good such that we ended up exploring nearby restaurants. Overall the experience was really good, thankfully because of the drivers as most of the time we were out, the road journey & visiting places. Travel triangle is a good platform where you can get quotes from different travel agents and you have the choice to select as per need & budget. Definitely will try again! Thanks

Travel agent was responsive. Our hotel at Leg was not good but agent changed to good one after one night in average hotel at Leh. Camp at Pangong was not up to mark but there was no way we could contact agent to change it. Hotel at Margolis was excellent. Changed hotel at Leh was very good. Camp at at nubra was good. Houseboat at Srinagar was average. Non availability of electricity for most of the times at camps in nubra and pangong was not told to us. We checked nubra camp at 4pm and left 6.30 am next morning and did not get hot water for even one minute. I tried to contact Visnu Kumar , my designated trip advisor on 15th July , the day before travel date but his phone was switched off and no alternative person was allotted. Stay at Hotel at kargil, scenic beauty enroute Nubra and pangong.

Gastroentrologydenmark's 6 days trip to Kashmir

Hi firstly the answer what most of the indians wants to know. Is Kashmir safe Answer- 100 times safer then Delhi...Every person is decent they respect women a lot..They don't hate India rather the politics has created a environment of corruption and severe unemployment...for eg a horse ride would charge you 2000but the guy with you(who would be with you will get only 200 RS a day rest all money would be taken by his Malik...even if you tip him in front of his Malik later he would snatch that money also... Not let's start the trip Day 1- we landed at airport at 12 in noon. Unfortunately that was a day of strike in Srinagar...Secondly our plan was to go to sonamarg the first day but that was not possible ......A small mistake by my travel consultant costed me one night t that beautiful place and have to stay at base station Kashmir. If you take a trip make first day Kashmir local site seeing...Nothing new you can get garden etc in Delhi also.....Target only hills from first day that's where the beauty lies.So we checked into the hotel milad regency.Excellent room very good staff.only problem was food was pathetic.Even on last day my cab driver said that he had never seen a hotel in Srinagar so lethargic that can't serve breakfast even at 9 am...lol...but they provided us with excellent rooms...cook just need a refresher course.....4/5 to Royal miladh...every one was good and have a smiling face.... Day 2 sonamarg- start of our trip...our can driver raja ji a very good person by nature and very entertaining took us to sonmarg...about 2 hours from srinagar...from there. You go for sightseeing ...the union can would charge you around 5500....I m a bad bargainer...The cab driver was even more good and took us to exotic locations with really adventurous roads....actually it's on way to kargil will take you to zero point where ladakh starts....again J.k police is damn corrupt and I saw them in necessary creating nuisance with driver...most likely for bribes. One returning we went to snow mountain did snow scooter 2500 for 2 and 1600 extra for self driving me and my wife drive it ...amazing experience....weather was beautiful....After sight seeing we returned back to our base station Kashmir(again slight negligence on part of our tour planner can't stay a night at sonamarg...but it's ok..I am not a messy person). Day 3 - We started early morning for pehegram....It's more beautiful then sonmarg.....we stayed for two nights at Eden resort...perfect is the only word I would say to describe the resort....period! At pehegram first day we took two ponies at 10500.5-6 hours adventurous ride on mountains...no roads nothing......it's some thing which only should be tried by adventurous people...finally after passing through a number ofvbeeautiful places we reach the valley called as mini Switzerland...again an awesome experience....bad thing is that I tipped the old pony man 500 RS which his Malik snatched...I rebuked him for that gave him extra 500 and gave old uncle 500 tip...at age of 55 he took us for 5-6 hour trip....uncle too told us that he is paid just 300-400 per day out of 10500 we gave...literally that's heart breaking. Evening stay at Eden is awesome...nothing to explain everything was up to the mark from food to waiter...a waiter was so good that when on second day I felt like sleeping and he don't saw me with my wife at buffet table he came to my room with 8 eggs.....vao such good peoples...Second day at pehelgam we took unionncar 1800 and went to alu betaab valley and amarnath staring point again beautiful scenes at various locations....The weather at amarnath starting point was rainy and we enjoyed it...... After that we headed back to Srinagar....Mughal garden etc.....fir tourists keep your stay at Srinagar minimum...it's nothing as compared to other places.....Basically as rest day as Srinagar was very hot that day I enjoyed wazawan.... While returning from pehegam at zabar shop we bought saffron shilajeet honey blackberry cranberry..To my utter surprise a villager sold me 2 kg of walnut giri in 1100 RS only.....we get it in 4000 RS in Delhi....we bought porchu at betaab valley and pashmina shawls from villagers at mini Switzerland...the level of bargain is that he was asking 750 per unit and at last he agreed at 4 units for 1000rs lol.....Let your wife bargain don't interfere...I was amazed to see that level of bargaining . Tour to gulmarg again awesome started at 9 reached at 11 took pony ..took gadola ride to the topmost mountain called phase 2.....enjoyed sledge...skieng and snow with rains .....14900 feet's high...our guide took 700 RS Sledge and skie was 4000 for 2. Gandola ride is fixed around 3800 for 2 till point 2...Most beautiful part of Srinagar as per me is gulmarg.again a part of mistake by my travel planner...no night stay at gulmarg(it should be there) rather we came down to Srinagar again. Please do take gulmarg night stay it's the most beautiful place.ponies took 2000 for 2...plus as my habit I tipped the pony boy with 200(depends on you).Every one was very good. Next morning we started for doodpathri....a less populated peaceful area.....again took ponies 2500 for 2 and the two gentle men took us for a 6-7 km sight seeing ...beautiful again....please tip them ...a cofee at Starbucks costs you 250....tipping those people with such good nature I feel banta hai Yar...... After doodh pathri we returned for shikara ride to our house boat....the shereon wangroo was very beautiful house boat....never expected that it would be so beautiful...old baba ki and cook uncle would serve you fresh meals and breakfast and honey moon cake..though not mandatory...I think you should tip them ...they are all so generous and polite.....The kasmir and population I met was totally different from what aaj Tak and all media channels shows....these people arrme 100 times more couteous then Delhi Gentry.......next day morning we did shikkara ride and jet skis tipped the old uncle who gave us a lots of blessing and clicked our pics...... Finally we left for airport ...Raja dropped us.... Overall a perfect trip fulll of enjoyment Keep at least 30 to 40 k extra for two person to enjoy each and every sight seeing...... In short very good peoples especially our driver and all hotel persons and shikara and house boat person and every one....The best kashmiri tea I got at phase 1 gandola ride station moon light restraunt....excellent kashmiri tea ..... Visit this place...it's really a paradise on Earth....I wasted a lots of money in Bali Thailand and all ....Real beauty was just 900 km away. From Delhi. P.s - keep Srinagar stay short. stay at every place sonamarg gulmarg pahalgam etc. Dr Rishu Saxena 7082276412 Every thing...I loved kashmiri people they are so good.

Hotels Milad provided at Srinagar was okay. Rooms are small and not pleasent. Houseboat stay was disappointing at Srinagar as rooms are not properly maintained and feel to be old. Food was okay. All other hotels were okay at Kargil, Leh, Hunder and Diskit, and food was good. Cab provided was okay at Srinagar and driver Mr. Sajad was good. Cab was good for Sonamarg to Leh transfer, however driver Mr. Shawkut was something disappointing. He was addicted of smoking and hence after every 30 min, he used to stop car. Further, he started to clean the car every time. Cab for Leh sightseeing was not properly maintained but okay. Driver for this car was okay, but he was not stop car for lunch at Restaurants of our choice, instead he stopped the car at Restaurants of his choice, further he said to drop some luggage at Leh hotel in last moment while going to Nubra by saying that car shall not take pick up. We noticed that other tourist cab ran smoothly with higher luggage than us. Support from Holiday Excel agent was good. Hotel Ladakh Imperial at Leh, Regency in Pahalgam and Baru la in Kargil was good.

A very good trip I must say!! Thanks to Travel Triangle for having good travel agents in your panel. I must Thank Swati of "Shoes on Loose", who had helped us in giving good properties for accommodation, especially she accomodated the hotels we asked for! Hotel Kidar in Leh is good clean and the personnel and very customer friendly. they were helpful and courteous. the Owner of the property, Jigmet is a wonderful person and he indeed made us feel at home by personally monitoring things . Hotel at Nubra the summer camp was something everyone should stay and experience. the Swiss cottages give us a different experience. however, the weather played the Vilain and we had to go through a chill night. The breakfast and diner was tasty as well. However, the hotel personnel were sweet and helpful in giving us hot water in bottles to keep it on our stomach and sleep. They provided with additional blankets and made us comfortable. the taste of the food was average but their support actually surpassed the taste component Hotel we booked at Pangong was demolished by the Ladakh Givt on environmental safety factor. Shoes on loose arranged an alternate hotel which was a good one too. However, it was sad that even that hotel was seized and asked to close by Govt just the day before we reached Pangong. the agency arranged a Swiss cottage Similar to the Nubra hotel but the temperature and chill winds made us refuse the accommodation provided.. but again thanks to Meenakshi, Shoes and Loose. She quickly arranged an alternate wooden cottage for us .. the personnel in the hotel were very supportive and helpful.. with -5 deg temp going in the night, it was tough to handle my 70 yrs old mother and we have to give us oxygen for few hours.. but she quickly recovered the location is so good that it is what anyone would ask for.. just opp to the beautiful lake.. but the temperature was so chill with lots of breeze. hotel at kargil, Zojila Residency is a very good property. good and clean rooms with good heater provision to keep the room warm. the only hiccup is the staff is not equipped to handle large occupancy.. for bith dinner and the next day breakfast, they could not give us full meal.. theere was food shortage all the time.. my sincere request to this hotel management is to plan the food well in advance as you are aware of the booking sand ensure the travelers dont sleep hungry or get frustrated with long waiting. we had to just go without eating due to delay and our travel time . The driver Jigmet appointed for us was a very experienced & skilled driver. He was patient and cool. one improvement area for the agency is please appoint drivers also act like guide to us.. he does take us to the locations, but if he is able to explain the place more , it will be a VALUE ADD. few points to highlight for better experience to travelers who are travelling for first time. 1. Please check the temperatures on google and carry woolens and clothing accordingly. it was unfortunate that the tour operator allocated to us, living in Leh, mislead us and gave us wrong temps, he encouraged us to remove few warm clothing saying there is not much temp, denying google as wrong. being a local guy, we TRUSTED him and in the last minute reduced the woolens, which lead us to coup,d of bitter/sour experiences during the nights. 2. Travel Triangle sent us an email on things to do / carry etc after we reached Leh, which was of NO USE. request their representative to ensure the email is sent to us atleast 1 week before our travel so that we travel prepared. these are all small points, given for bettering the services for customers. but OVERALL WE REALLY HAD A GREAT TIME AND THANKS TO TEAM SHOES ON LOOSE FOR MAKING OUR TRIP MEMORABLE AND CHERISHED! I would suggest travelers to please utilize travel triangle and Shoes on Loose for your other trips as well.
