The journey from Mumbai to Srinagar by train is a little long, however is the best way to commute between the two destinations if you are travelling in a big group of family or friends. The train Jammu Tawi Special is the most preferred train from Mumbai to Jammu. The train is clean and certainly the most economical way to travel between the two destinations. From Jammu Tawi station you can take a bus or hire a cab to Srinagar.
Mumbai to Srinagar is a long drive of about 37 Hours to cover the distance of 2237 Kilometres. You will have to split the journey into 2 to 3 days to avoid strain during the travel especially if you are travelling with family. The roads between the two destinations are good, however there are hilly patches and rough roads in between which are likely to slow down your pace. The journey crosses important destinations like Ahmedabad, Rajasthan, Punjab and so on; hence staying and food is not a trouble along this route.

Aaliya Showkat and team made a very good and a feasible plan based upon the budget and were always receptive and cordial in terms of the needs of the guests. The trip to Pahalgam was very good! The roads leading to Pahalgam are very close to nature.
Trip to KashmirService was good from Classic holidays I would recommend them to be the facilitator for anyone who is traveling to J&K. But there was no extra value audition from them on request for an early pickup and also price was increased after the quotation was accepted. for which I had to shell out 1.5k extra from my pocket.
