Day 1

Delhi to Manali

    Arrival at Delhi and then depart to Manali.

    You will arrive in Delhi on your own commuting options (Air or Train) from Chennai. You are required to reach the Boarding point at 5.00 PM, sharp and depart From Delhi to Manali by 5.30 PM by Volvo bus overnight (10-14 hrs). Reach Manali by 7.00 AM the next day.

    Day 2

    Manali: Arrival and Sightseeing

      Arrival at Manali and exploring Manali.

      You will reach Manali today morning. You will be transported up from the Volvo station and then shifted to a hotel. From there you will be required to check-in to the hotel. You may rest for the day and by afternoon you shall do a half-day city tour. You can visit the famous wooden temple Hadimba Devi located in Van Vihar. Also the Vashisht village, its temple and the Vashisht Hot Water Springs. You may roam around Van Vihar and explore the Manali market to get in touch with the local produce. The mall and the Tibetan monastery in the locality are also worth paying a visit. Later by evening, you may do some shopping in the Shopping malls Manali-Mall road & IBEX market. Later you can head to the hotel where you will have your Dinner and stay overnight.

      Excursion to Rohtang Pass or Solang Valley

        Depart to Rohtang pass and Solang Valley

        After breakfast, you will be driven to Rohtang Pass, also known Snow point. Rohtang Pass is a pivotal point that connects Manali to the districts of Lahaul and Spiti. There are few rules and regulations to visit Rohtang pass implemented for every traveler by National Green Tribunal.few of them are like only 1200 number of vehicles are allowed in Rohtang pass in a day. Out of this, 800 petrol fueled taxis and 400 diesel-fueled taxis are allowed. You can spend a few hours at the pass and enjoy many activities on snow like ice skiing, Snowmobile ride and pony riding by spot payments. After enjoying a full day you can return back to the hotel from where you will have your dinner and stay overnight.

                Hotel provided at shimla is barowalia resort, which is a pathetic hotel. initially was promised to give Pahuna resort, but later changed. Itenary provided in the list cannot be completed due to not so super planning, only 60% places can be covered.. Driver is a good person and he is a good gentle man. after so much of complaints got a better hotel in Manali Varsha Inn a very good hotel thanks to Mrs. Sharma, but the itenary in manali should be planned for 2 days, 1 day is not sufficient, this has to be told to the customer, if customer is having budget problems cover only important places. Because of this creating unnecessary rift between customer and driver, luckily not happened in my case. Neelam is very helpful in co-ordinating things, but as an agency lot to improve.

                Overall Manali and Amritsar trip was very good. Planned on Dec 23-29, 2019 Good points: Cab driver (Ashok Sharma) was very good guy considering travelling with family. Area of Improvement: While finalizing trip, it was told that Delhi manali will take 8-10 hr but it was around 16hr, that way agent could have advised to stay in Mandi or some nearer place in night and then can go to Manali at next morning. Instead of that they were more in hurry to final lead from customer. Hotel: Manali hotel was very good and Amritsar hotel was ok. Overall trip was Good with Guruji and Key point was arrangement of Good Cab driver.

                The hotels were recomended and selected by us and were good as expected Poor tour arrangement by travel agency Travel agency had not informed driver about agreed pickup time. Pickup from Delhi Airport delayed by almost 3 hours hence planned Chandigarh sight seeing on way to Manali was cancelled Snow point was not covered as per the agreed itenary as the vehicle arranged for sightseeing was Delhi registration vehicle We had to arrange separate local HP registration car for SNOW POINT @ additional expense of 3000/-(car charges) When asked about this Walkway Holidays owner Sumit was quiet rude and tried to fool us by saying that Solang valley and snow point were one and the same just to avoid the refund of the additional expense we had to bare. We asked to include Manikaran temple since snow point was not covered by Walkway as agreed in itenary and this was also not agreed by Walkway agency.

                We booked cab & hotels for delhi-Jhibi-manali-delhi trip with Ideal Tours for our 4N/5D. Appreciation for Ms Urmila, supports pre-booking and post booking with them. We got suzuki dezire, the car was absolutely clean and the driver Mr Sunil was also co-operative with excellent driving skills. But during trip the driver charged 7500 extra (more than actual rate 4000 for Rotang) for rotang+sissu village where sissu was included in the final package. Also we faced a issue due to miscommunication regarding payment at manali hotel. But later Mr Krishna responded & sorted everything very quickly. hotel mansarovar tirthan valley - Hotel/staff/services were good hotel mountain green villa, Manali - Hotels/staff/services were good Overall nice experience. Suggestion - Need to be more professional in terms of dealing extra pays..Communication gap is there between agent and driver.

Rating them 3 in place of 4 because on the last day of trip there was some payment issue between the agency and bus driver which i had to intermediate.                 it was a great trip. organization of all things was good. Need to improve 3 star hotels service and standards little more. Rest food was good only tha days ( almost 3 days) we have to travel early morning we had skipped our breakfast, there should be option for ready to take or packed one. shimala hotel was good, manali one has some room and services problem but outside view was awasom. Mention you about our driver GURMEET, he was very good guy and drive car very precisly. Hope to get new planned trip with you guys soon in future. Thanks for a good trip. Shimla Jakhu temple and mall road. Road side view after Kullu to Manali Manali Rohtang and Zero Point.
