How Much Does the Kullu Manali Volvo Package from Delhi Cost?
The Kullu Manali tour by Volvo from Delhi starts at Rs 11,000 per person and runs up to about Rs 11,828 depending on the travel month and hotel category you pick. The two overnight Volvo fares, the Manali stay, daily breakfast and dinner, and the sightseeing cabs are all bundled into that figure, so there is no per-day fare to add up at the end. Here is what shifts the price.
| What you choose | Effect on price | Price from (per person, 3N/4D ex-Delhi) |
|---|---|---|
| Standard 3-star, off-peak month | Base plan, valley-side rooms, all sightseeing included | Rs 11,000 |
| Deluxe hotel or peak snow week | Better location or December to January snow dates | Rs 11,828 |
| Add a night or a Kullu extension | Extra Manali night, or the Manikaran and Parvati valley add-on | On request |
Ask for a quote and you get the all-in per-person figure up front. Because the tour is fully customisable, you can upgrade one hotel, add a snow day, or extend into the Parvati valley and the price adjusts, rather than being locked into a fixed slab.
Kullu Manali Volvo Itinerary, Day by Day
Day 1 | Overnight Volvo From Delhi to Manali
Your trip starts in Delhi in the evening, where you board the overnight Volvo coach. The semi-sleeper seats recline, there are rest stops on the way, and the roughly 530 km run through Chandigarh and Mandi happens while you sleep. By around 7 in the morning you reach Manali, so the long first leg costs you a night of travel, not a day of your holiday. No meals are served on board.
Day 2 | Arrive Manali and Local Sightseeing
The representative meets you and takes you to your hotel to freshen up. Later, a private cab covers the town: the Hadimba Devi Temple in its old cedar forest, Van Vihar park by the Beas, and the Vashisht village for a soak in its natural hot springs. From there you have the Tibetan Monastery and the Mall Road for an easy evening of Kullu shawls, caps and hot chocolate. Breakfast and dinner are included, and you stay overnight in Manali.
Day 3 | Solang Valley, Rohtang Pass or the Atal Tunnel to Sissu
After breakfast you head up to Solang Valley, about 14 km and a 35-minute drive from town, for the day's adventure. When the road is open and the permit is arranged, you can continue to Rohtang Pass, about 51 km out, for the classic high-altitude snow. When Rohtang is shut or permit-capped, the day switches to the Atal Tunnel instead: a 9.02 km drive under the range that drops you into Sissu in Lahaul in under an hour, where the snow meadow and the Sissu waterfall make an easy, crowd-free snow stop. Either way you are back in Manali by evening, with breakfast and dinner included.
Day 4 | Naggar Castle, Kullu and the Overnight Volvo Back
Your last day runs down the Kullu valley. You visit the medieval Naggar Castle, the former seat of the Kullu kings, with its wood-and-stone architecture and valley views, then stop at a Kullu shawl workshop to see the weaving and the local Jagatsukh and Gayatri temples. There is time for river rafting on the Beas near Kullu if you want it. In the late afternoon, around 4:30, you board the overnight Volvo back to Delhi, arriving the next morning. Breakfast is included before you set off.
Solang Valley Adventure Menu
Solang Valley is the activity hub of the trip, and what is on offer changes with the season. In summer the meadow is green and the paragliding is the big draw. In winter the same slope turns into a snow field for skiing and snow scooters. Most rides are pay-as-you-go on the day, so you pick what you want rather than paying for a fixed package.
Paragliding: short tandem flights over the meadow in the summer months.
Skiing and snow scooter: the winter draw once the snow settles, roughly December to February.
Cable car, or gondola ropeway: an easy ride up for the views, good for families and non-skiers.
Zorbing, ATV and horse riding: quick, low-commitment activities on the valley floor.
Yak and pony rides: a relaxed option if you would rather watch the action than join it.
Adventure charges are paid directly at Solang and are not part of the package price, so you spend only on what you actually try.
Rohtang Pass and the Atal Tunnel to Sissu
Rohtang Pass sits at about 3,978 m and is the headline snow point of the Manali side, roughly 51 km from town. It needs an online permit, it is capped at a daily vehicle quota, and it closes every Tuesday for maintenance and through the deep winter and monsoon. That is worth knowing before you build a whole day around it.
The Atal Tunnel is the modern answer when Rohtang is not an option. At 9.02 km it is one of the world's longest high-altitude highway tunnels, and it cuts the drive to Sissu in Lahaul to under an hour with no permit needed. Sissu gives you a snow meadow, a quiet waterfall and the Chandra river, and it stays open when Rohtang is closed. On this tour the Day 3 snow stop flexes between the two depending on the road, the weather and the permit quota, so you get snow whichever way the day goes.
Kullu Valley: Naggar Castle, Shawls and the Manikaran Option
The slug says Kullu Manali for a reason, and the last day leans into it. Naggar Castle, about 21 km from Manali, was the capital of the Kullu kingdom for centuries and is now a heritage stop with a small gallery and long valley views. The Kullu shawl workshops nearby are where the region's famous weaves are made, and they make an honest shopping stop rather than a tourist trap.
If you want more of the Kullu side, the tour can extend down the Parvati valley to Manikaran, known for its hot springs and its shared Sikh gurudwara and Shiva temple, where the spring water is hot enough to cook langar. Manikaran is a longer run from Manali, so it works best as an added day rather than a squeeze into the fixed four, and the team will price it into your quote on request.

Best Time to Visit Manali on This Tour
This tour works across seasons and the month just changes the mood. December to February is snow season, best if Solang skiing and a white Atal Tunnel or Rohtang are what you came for. April to June is warm and green, the pick for paragliding, rafting and long sightseeing days. March and October are quieter shoulder months with mild weather and lighter crowds. Monsoon, July to September, can bring landslide delays on the Manali road, so keep the plan flexible if you travel then.
