Day 1: Arrival in Delhi, Drive to Manali and Half-Day Tour

Rohtang Pass, about 51 km up, needs an online permit and a daily vehicle quota, and it usually stays closed from November into April for snow. When it is shut, or when permits run out, your driver can instead take the Atal Tunnel to Sissu in the Lahaul valley. The tunnel stays open through the year and needs no permit, so you still get snow-dusted peaks and river-flat meadows on a winter trip. Enjoy your day at these spots, then head back to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Naggar Excursion

Have breakfast and get ready for a full-day excursion to Naggar. You visit Naggar Castle, the Shawl Factory, the Gayatri Mata Gauri Shankar Temple, the Naggar Castle Art Gallery with its Roerich collection, and the Shiva temple at Jagatsukh. There is river rafting on the Beas along the way for those who want it. If you would rather trade Naggar for the Parvati valley, this day can be swapped for a Kullu and Manikaran run to the hot springs and the Gurudwara, one of the easiest customisations on this route. How to Reach Manali From Ahmedabad by Flight
