Manali doesn’t have an airport, but the nearest airport is Bhuntar, which is about 50 km away from the hill station and 10 km away from Kullu. Many flights operate from this airport to multiple destinations by different airlines. So you can book your flight and reach Manali. Once you get to Manali, you can hire a taxi/cab available at the airport that will drop you off at the appropriate area in Manali. However, many local buses are also available from Bhuntar to Kullu or Manali. With this, you will find out how to reach Manali by air and plan your hassle-free trip.

Another best way is to reach by train and enjoy the multiple attractions in this hill station. So, the nearest railway station is Joginder Nagar, about 50 km away. Many trains from across the country come to this station so that tourists can connect to Manali easily. Kalka is also the popular railway station to connect to Manali with your loved ones. From both the railway stations, bus services are available that will drop you to Kullu or Manali. However, you can also get a personal taxi to solve your problem of how to reach Manali by train.

Driver had not received payment as he was asked to collect payment in cash from me, however I had already done the final payment online the previous day. I had to make numerous calls to both Travel Triangle and North India tours to get things sorted. Please make sure such things don't happen in future.

Overall, the trip was good. However driver assigned was not professional. At certain places there were rash drivings. Coming to the accommodation, the hotels were well chosen. Especially the one for manali and dalhousie were the best with mesmerising scenic views. However for the hotel in dharmashala, the room was not provided as agreed before the trip and we had to face a lot of issues. Overall, the trip was memorable. However, would suggest improvements in terms of assigning good drivers, since thats also an essential part of the trip. Accommodation for manali and dalhousie was too good. Solang valley visit was memorable.
