Manali Tour From Hyderabad (5D/4N): Overview
Manali tour packages from Hyderabad make the trip to Himachal simple: you fly out of Hyderabad and we take over the moment you reach the north. This is a fixed 5 days and 4 nights package priced from Rs 11,500 per person on twin sharing, covering hotel stays in Manali, daily breakfast and dinner, sightseeing across Solang Valley and Rohtang, and every ground transfer in between. There is no direct flight from Hyderabad to Manali, so the routing runs through Delhi or Chandigarh, and the package picks the journey up from there. Manali sits in the Kullu Valley of Himachal Pradesh at around 2,050 m, with the Beas river running through town and snow peaks on all sides. Below is the exact day-by-day plan, the real cost once airfare is added, and how to reach Manali from Hyderabad.

How to Reach Manali From Hyderabad
There is no direct Hyderabad to Manali flight, and no airport in Manali itself. The practical route is to fly into Delhi or Chandigarh, then cover the last leg by road, which this package handles for you.
| Mode | Route from Hyderabad | Time | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| By flight (recommended) | Hyderabad (HYD) to Delhi (DEL) or Chandigarh (IXC), then road to Manali | ~2 hr flight + 8 to 14 hr road | Nearest airport to Manali is Bhuntar (KUU), about 50 km, but flights there are few |
| By train | No direct train; Hyderabad to Chandigarh or Ambala by rail, then road | ~30 to 34 hr rail + road | Cheapest option, but a very long haul |
| By road | The self-drive leg only starts at Delhi or Chandigarh, not from Hyderabad | 10 to 14 hr Delhi to Manali | The overnight Volvo from Delhi is included in the package |
"If your dates allow, fly into Chandigarh rather than Delhi. It cuts the road leg to Manali by four to five hours, and the overnight Volvo out of Delhi is the tiring part of the trip," says our Himachal operations lead, who books this route through the season.
What a Manali Package From Hyderabad Actually Costs
The Rs 11,500 land price covers your four nights in Manali, breakfast and dinner, sightseeing and all ground transport. It does not include the Hyderabad to Delhi or Chandigarh airfare, which is the one cost travellers forget to add. Book flights three to four weeks out and the return fare runs roughly Rs 11,000 to Rs 18,000 per person depending on the season. Put the two together and a couple should budget around Rs 55,000 to Rs 75,000 all in for the 5D/4N trip.
| Component | Cost per person | In the package? |
|---|---|---|
| Land package: 4N Manali, breakfast and dinner, sightseeing, transfers | from Rs 11,500 | Yes |
| Hyderabad to Delhi/Chandigarh return airfare | about Rs 11,000 to 18,000, seasonal | No, book separately |
| Lunches, entry fees, Rohtang permit, activities | pay as you go | No |
| Hotel upgrade (4-star / 5-star) | on request | Optional |

Your 5-Day Manali Itinerary From Hyderabad
Day 1: Fly Hyderabad to Chandigarh or Delhi, then road to Manali
Your trip starts at Hyderabad airport with a flight north, about two hours in the air. If your dates allow, fly into Chandigarh: the drive to Manali is then about eight to nine hours and you skip the tiring overnight coach. Otherwise you fly to Delhi and board the overnight Volvo to Manali, which is included in the package and leaves in the evening for the 10 to 14 hour climb through the hills. Either way our representative meets you on arrival in Manali and helps with hotel check-in. Freshen up, have breakfast, and take the rest of the day easy while you get used to the thinner mountain air.
Day 2: Manali local sightseeing, Hadimba and Vashisht springs
After breakfast you head out to see Manali up close. First stop is the Hadimba Devi Temple, then Vashisht village and its hot water springs, followed by Van Vihar by the river. From there you move through the Mall Road markets and the Tibetan monastery. The evening is yours to wander Old Manali and pick up a shawl or a wood carving to take home. It is an unhurried day, on purpose, to let the altitude settle before the high passes.
Day 3: Solang Valley, Atal Tunnel and Rohtang or Sissu
This is the big scenery day. After breakfast you drive up to Solang Valley for snow activities, the ropeway and paragliding in season, then continue through the Atal Tunnel. At 9.02 km it is one of the longest high-altitude road tunnels in the world, and it drops you into the Lahaul valley at Sissu. When the Rohtang road is open, usually May to October, you can take that route instead, up to about 3,978 m for snow points and skiing. A Rohtang permit is required and is arranged locally. You are back at the hotel by evening.
Day 4: Naggar Castle, Kullu and the Beas
After breakfast you drive down towards Kullu for a full day around Naggar. You start at the stone-and-timber Naggar Castle, then do some local sightseeing, followed by river rafting on the Beas when the water is running. From there it is on to a shawl factory, the Roerich art gallery and the old Jagatsukh temple, before heading back to the hotel for dinner. It is the most varied day of the trip, mixing history, craft and a bit of adventure.
Day 5: Departure back to Hyderabad
After breakfast and check-out you begin the journey home. You travel back down to Delhi on the same coach and connect to your Hyderabad flight, or fly out of Chandigarh if that was your inbound route. You reach Hyderabad the same evening or the next morning depending on your booking, with four nights of Manali behind you.
Best Time to Visit Manali From Hyderabad
March to June is the most comfortable window. Days are mild, the Rohtang road reopens, and Solang turns green for paragliding and zorbing. December to February is the snow season, when Solang and the Atal Tunnel area are white and skiing is on, though Rohtang itself usually stays shut. July to September brings the monsoon and a real risk of landslides on the ghat roads, so most Hyderabad travellers skip it.
Whatever the month, pack layers: a warm jacket and gloves for the snow points even in summer, sturdy shoes, sunscreen, and any regular medicines, since pharmacies thin out past Manali. For a full month-by-month view of the state, read our Himachal travel guide.

Cancellation and refund: because this is a customisable package, the exact refund depends on how close to travel you cancel and on the hotel and transport already confirmed. As a guide, cancellations made more than 30 days before departure carry the lowest charge, 15 to 30 days out carry a part charge, and under 15 days the highest, since peak-season hotel rooms and Volvo seats are blocked in advance. Your trip coordinator confirms the exact figures in writing before you pay anything.
Fares, hotels and sightseeing on this page are checked by our Himachal desk against current operator contracts before each season.
