Pemayangtse Monastery

It is most renowned for its religious activities built-in 1705 as a high-class monastery for pure monks known in Tibetan ‘as the Ta Sang’. The images of Guru Padmasambhava and his various manifestations are portrayed on the first and second floors. This monastery tends to display the essence of spiritually and the power of creative art.

Another fascinating site is the ruins of Rabdentse Palace. The palace was constructed by the second King of Sikkim, who was known as Tensung Namgyal. What to expect as a tourist are the ruins and stone structure of the fort.
