Best Time To Visit Singapore
Plan your trip during best season to experience the best of this stunning destination
The best time to visit Singapore is November through June. The weather is mostly clear and colder during this time of the year. These winter months are the best season to visit Singapore. The country’s climate is that of a tropical rainforest, thanks to its shoulder-rubbing proximity with the equator. As a result, Singapore weather is not very varied and enjoys a steady condition of warmth and humidity throughout.
November-June (31 to 24 degrees)
Winter weather and holiday festivals combine to make this period a high season for travel to Singapore. Tourists will have to face Northeast monsoon between November and January. There is usually about 10 to 12 inches of rainfall in the last two months of the year. Accommodation and flight tickets are usually at their peak due to holidays so make your reservations well in advance. After mid-February tourists start to leave the island and hotel rates come down. The months of April and May offer great deals on flights and tourist places are less crowded.
July-October (25 to 32 degrees)
The Southwest Monsoon hits the island nation between June and September so the tourist footfall is less in these months. Temperature in Singapore are slightly higher and as is humidity. However, tourists can make the most of the Great Singapore Sale in August to get bargains on designer wear. National Day, Grand Prix Singapore, and Singapore Food Festival are top events during this season.
Climate in Singapore
Summer Season in Singapore
Owing to the climatic zone and the maritime conditions all around, Singapore weather seasons feel like summer all year around. But in the months of May and June, Singapore weather is the absolute hottest. It becomes difficult to enjoy outdoor activities. The temperature itself is not as high – it has only been as high as 36°C on certain occasions in the summer months. But it is the high humidity that makes Singapore weather in June feel much hotter. In the mornings it can go as high as 90% and come down to around 60% in the afternoons. But one can enjoy beach activities like sunbathing or shopping in the cool interiors of Marina Bay Sands.
Monsoon Season in Singapore
The southwest monsoon is the actual rainy season in Singapore. From July to September, there are prolonged heavy rains and the humidity levels reach 100%. But the eastern side of Singapore often remains comparatively drier than the western side because of Rain Shadow Effect caused by Bukit Timah Hill. Despite the small size of Singapore, the tourists can often find Singapore weather in July on the side of the country to be sunny and dry while it pours down on the other side.
The best season to visit Singapore for everyone is the spring season. From mid-March to early May, Singapore climate is perfect for tourists – dry, not too hot and neither very humid. The hotel prices go higher, flight rates spike, and there is an overall burst of tourism in the entire country. So, if one wants to visit Singapore during this period, bookings must be done well in advance. Singapore temperature in May starts spiking, but it does not start raining until June. So, the tourists can easily enjoy all the outdoor and indoor activities without any hassle or trouble at all.
Winter Season in Singapore
Like any equatorial country, Singapore does not really get a distinct winter. Singapore temperature hovers around 25°C – 32°C throughout the year on an average. In fact, the winter months of the northern hemisphere, i.e., November to January is mostly covered in rain. Singapore weather in December is often wet and humid. It is the North-east monsoon that brings the second batch of showers into the island country during this mid-November to early March. There are torrential showers and heavy winds in the afternoons, with cloudy conditions for the rest of the day - much like Singapore weather in May only. But for those who do not care about getting a bit wet, this time of the year is a great time to go for the trip because of low flight fares and pocket-friendly accommodations.

Trip to MalaysiaTravel triangle is a great platform for travelers. However, the experience in Singapore was very bad. I had to wait for more than 1 hour for my pick up and drop off. In Malaysia and Langkawi everything was perfect.
Trip to MalaysiaIt was the wonderful experience travelling to singapore & Malaysia. Thanks to unique travelz for their arrangements & special thanks to Soni & Palak for their guidance & cooperation.
Trip to MalaysiaWe found the best quote for trip to Malaysia and Singapore from Freeze my trip. We were initially skeptical about going ahead, but the risk was worth it in the end. Our itinerary was arranged in a way we had requested ( we were traveling with a toddler hence had requested for non-hectic schedule ). The hotel Parc Sovereign we stayed in Singapore was a pretty average one with very tiny rooms and average breakfast. However this hotel was selected by us and not the agency. We requested a last moment change in the hotel selected in kuala lumpur ( due to recent negative reviews on renovation). Freeze my trip was very considerate and considered our last moment change and arranged stay in renaissance hotel. This hotel was worth every penny. The staff gave us a room with the petronas towers right across us! The Buffet no doubt was the best!. We had timely pick up, drops, Everything was smooth and hence were able to enjoy our vacation without hurdles. A point to be highlighted here is that we were given single entry visit to Malaysia although we had requested multiple entry. Freeze my trip immediately cancelled and arrange the multiple entry in no time. I must really appreciate the effort taken here. I would definitely recommend Travel triangle and specifically Freeze my Trip. We ourselves are looking forward to book our next trip with them! View of Singapore city lit up from the flyer at night. View of Petronas twin tower from the hotel room.

Trip to MalaysiaOverall trip was good.Beside laziness of the D organizer's. Our flight was rescheduled without even asking us. Cruise were cancelled and no alternatives were provided.Even dinner vouchers were blindly given to us but there was no one to tell how to reach there. So we had to take the maps in our hand and reach. Sentosa island, singapore city.
Trip to MalaysiaI behalf of my family would like to thank you and your team for organising such a memorable trip for us to Singapore. It was very well organised and very much good as per our expectations. It was so well planned that we didn’t fell uncomfortable being in other country. Starting from cruise to lasting in hotel and best part of the hotel was that it was next to the main shopping hubs of Singapore which saved a lot of time and money of traveling. Thanks a lot to the whole team of A1 Tours for giving such beautiful memories for life.
