Lake Geneva, Switzerland is one of the largest lakes in Western Europe.

It is shared by Switzerland and France. The length of the lake is 73 Km and the width is 14 Km, also the depth of the Lake is 310 meters. Apart from being one of the largest lakes, Lake Geneva is popular because it is divided into 3 parts due to its different forms of formation (sedimentation, tectonic folding, and glacial erosion). The names of the 3 lakes are Haut Lac (Upper Lake), Grand Lac (Large Lake) and Petite Lake (Small Lake).
