Cergy Holiday Packages
What makes this town interesting for tourists is that it has been used as a filming location for I… comme Icare, a Henri Verneuil’s film starring Yves Montand. It was released in 1979. The EDF-GDF tower designed by Renzo Moro is from where they shot the assassination of the president, Marc Jerry. The commune was chosen because of its innovative architecture, way ahead of its time in the 1980s.
How to reach
While making a Cergy tour plan, be prepared to not get any direct flights. One can take a flight from all major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, etc. The best airlines are Jey Airways, Air France, Air India, among others. A direct flight from Delhi to Paris takes about 10 hours, and then about 30 minutes ahead of it, you can reach the Cergy commune via a car or a train.
