You will need at least five days to explore these islands and have the most fun! Plan your holiday in such a way that you have at least half the day to relax and rejuvenate yourself and the rest of the day to explore and enjoy yourself. With TravelTriangle’s Andaman tour packages from Mumbai, you will not have to worry about the planning and plotting, we will do that for you!

Best Time To Visit Andaman

The best time to visit Andaman Nicobar Islands is between November and May, when the temperatures aren’t uncomfortably high, being the winter season of the islands. The monsoon is not the best time to visit, considering the risk of heavy storms, tidal waves, and strong winds, which may make travel very risky. Summer on the islands is very hot and sunny, and you may not get to enjoy your holidays! Make sure you book Andaman packages from Mumbai for that time when the temperatures are just right.

How To Reach Andaman?

The easiest and fastest way to visit Andaman and Nicobar is by flight, which will take you from most Indian cities to Andaman in two and a half hours. Travelling by flight means your journey will be short, comfortable and safe. The flights from Delhi fly via Chennai or Kolkata and generally take around 5 hours of travel. You can also book Andaman packages from Mumbai as there are connecting flights. Taking a flight, however, is the most expensive option— most people choose to travel by sea.

Reaching Andaman by ship would take you about 50 to 60 hours and you have the option of choosing a regular passenger ship or cruise liners, depending on your budget. These ships leave from Chennai, Kolkata and Visakhapatnam. If you’re lucky, you may even get a glimpse of some breath-taking marine life. However, travelling by sea is not for all. You may have seasickness, which means that the rocking motion of the ship may cause stomach upset and nausea, so make sure your stomach is strong enough to handle it! The duration of the journey, too, is long and may not be comfortable for all.

Rahul's 6 days trip to Andaman

the trip was bitter sweet. First the good : 1. Mr. rashid in port blair was extremely courteous and provided exceptional services. First day our itinerary had light show in cellular jail however the same could not be completed due to rainfall. however even without asking mr. rashid arranged the tickets on another day. Hotel de pebbles suggested by travel agency was very good . The owner there was extremely polite. 2. the resort at havelock was a beautiful property and photoshoot at radhanagar beach was very beautiful. Radhanagar beach was very beautiful and serene.. 3. Mr surojit at neil island provided good hospitality even while he himself was struck with fever. The bad: 1. Day 1 was disaster due to bad weather and poor maintenance/ arrangement of tourist spots by govt in port blair. 2. our seats in ferries from port blair to havelock and neil were in the middle thus offering no access to sea view. Seat selection by travel agency could have been better. 3. Due to bad road conditions , Natural bridge at neil was closed and all the sunset views were shrouded by clouds. Though if not for natural bridge (about which I don't know) i think one can skip neil island as there is nothing much to see here. The ugly: 1. The stay at pearl park beach resort at neil was disastrous. The staff as well as food at the resort there is pathetic. the resort is at a very good location. except for that evrything there is bad. the maintenance, cleanliness . This was further ruined by a very poor selection of rooms by travel agency. even though i explicitly told that i wanted a luxurious stay at havelock and neil, the rooms at neil were worse than any room i have ever stayed , including any oyo room. Radhanagar beach and sandy waves resort stay

Package booked via mytriplab. Some of the worthy destination were missing from itenary despite having a loosely packed schedule. Some of hotels have different kinds of room(sea-view/non sea-view, attached swimming pool) so the agents could be transparent in what types of room has been booked.

I booked my anadaman travel with them though online website called travel triangle for 7 day and 6 night with my wife and 6 month old baby. My experience with them is very good. The owner Anil itself came to pickup in airport. All booking taken care very well hassle free. They booked cruse as well with is green ocean which is open cruse must recommended. Havelock’s and niel hotel is also nice. Only thing is that weather is not that good during that time it was raining in December mid apart from that all is good. You guys can trust them they are genuine and also price is lesser than others.

Sandesh's 4 days trip to Andaman

I would like to highlight few points of appreciation, 1. The entire vacation trip was very well planned. 2. The cabs were on time with prompt communication at every point of visit and hotels including airport pickup and drop. 3. The Hotels were very good and we were welcomed warmly and also food was great. 4. The tickets to ferry and boats and activities were properly arranged with clear communication. 5. We did not face any sort of issue or delay whatsoever. 6. Candle light dinner arrangement was wonderful. and very few points which could have been better, 1. Complimentary snorkelling you provided was for 5 to 7mins, but there we were charged 1200/person saying complimentary is just training for 2mins. Probably this was a miscommunication here. 2. Since Chidiyatapu was far away, the cab should have arrived early. We reached right at sunset time. 3. Even Radhanagar beach we reached late and the complimentary photography was a total waste, as the photographer came after sunset and his camera had issues, all the images are blurred. His friend took 3 pics which are good but then it was already completely dark.

Tips For Travellers

If you’re planning on travelling to the Andaman and Nicobar, there are a few things you should keep in mind. Being surrounded by the sea, you must always be careful of where you wander. The sea is full of untold dangers, so make sure you stick to the signs and not go where you may get washed away by strong currents or have an encounter with dangerous underwater life. It is also best to avoid going out into the sea right after a meal or when drunk— make sure you have your senses about you! The sea gets very rough and choppy at night, so it is best to avoid the shores at night. Make sure to put on sunscreen and carry enough protection against the hot sun. Water sports is also a fun activity to try, but also can be very dangerous. Even if you know how to swim, make sure you wear a lifejacket and go with the instructions of a certified trainer.

Another thing to keep note of is the fact that the Andaman and Nicobar are home to a number of aboriginal tribes, many of whom do not like contact with outsiders and are fiercely protected by the authorities. Make sure you do not venture into these protected lands, as there may be dire consequences. There have been cases in the past where trespassing into the tribal lands has resulted in death. Do not throw plastic or other garbage around the island, keep it clean and tidy.

There is a reason why the quintessential picture of a “vacation” is by the beach, with a drink in hand. A beach is where you are sure to have the best holiday! And where else would you go, but the best beach in India? Andaman and Nicobar are widely known for being blessed with pristine beaches and gorgeous coconut groves, as well as hospitality which will make you want to stay on forever. It would be a holiday you will cherish forever. With TravelTriangle, this holiday just gets a whole lot better. Without the hassle of booking, planning and pre-ordering, all you need to focus on is enjoying yourself!
