Luxor, the royal city of Egypt, showcases a flawless concoction of the ancient and modern world. The word ‘Luxor’ translates to ‘Palaces’ and that is exactly what this divine city displays.

Present-day Luxor houses a large scale of remnants that have survived since the Middle Kingdom. The Egyptian architectural marvels cover the floors of this city with the ferocious Nile dividing the contemporary city and the remnants of the Old Kingdom making the royal city of Luxor look breathtakingly beautiful. With the Luxor tour packages offered by us, you can plan your royal escape and witness the richness of this city by yourselves!

Best Time To Visit

Luxor experiences different weather and temperatures in different seasons. The shoulder season of Luxor commences in the months of March or October and ends in April or November, respectively. These short time intervals allow travelers to witness the best of the city under pleasant weather conditions. Summer in Luxor witnesses scorching heat and makes the climate unfavorable for the tourists to tour around in the city. The shoulder season is perfect for budget travelers as the rates are more affordable and the city is less crowded. Winter season in Luxor encounters myriads of tourists, consequently shooting up the prices of the accommodations. Take a look at what each season has in store and book your Luxor holiday packages accordingly.

Summer Season: Being a desert city, the summer season in Luxor faces extremely hot summer. The months from May to September experience fiery rays of sun falling on the city, making it uncomfortable and unbearable for tourists to take a look around the royal city. But if one is still willing to visit Luxor in this season, they will get to enjoy the lowest rates possible of the hotels and airfares. For travelers seeking to avoid the crowds and travel on a low budget, summers in Luxor could be it. To avoid the peak of sunshine, travel around the city early in the morning or late in the evenings. Pack an umbrella, sunscreen, sunglasses, and loads of bottled water and one should be good to go.

Spring Season: March and April- two of the best months to visit Luxor- hides plenty of experiences that are offered to the travelers. With the winter season almost leaving and the summer season taking its time to enter, these two months face extremely pleasant weather. However, this royal city is covered by the coolest temperatures once the night falls in the spring season. By virtue of extremely favorable weather in April, the rates tend to be at their highest. Though, March allows travelers to grab still reasonable prices of the accommodations and airfares.

Autumn Season: The other two favorable months, October and November offer an ideal weather pattern to look around the city. These two months fall in between the end of parching summer and the peak season, making it a perfect time to pay a visit to Luxor. Offering a great time for travelers on a budget, the autumn season provides the hotels and other necessities at acceptable rates. One can book their Luxor trip packages as per their leisure as the chances of hotels in Luxor being full are very less. Moreover, since autumn is just before the peak season, the city is not overcrowded and acts as a great escape for the tourists seeking some tranquility. Being a deserted terrain, Luxor hardly experiences rain pours. Although, it is still advised to carry an umbrella in October, just in case.

Winter Season: Experiencing myriads of tourists flocking to the royal city, months from December to February are the busiest months in Luxor. If one wishes to travel to this magnificent city of Luxor in winter, it is recommended that they book their Luxor travel packages well in advance. With the temperature ranging between 4 degrees Celsius to 21 degrees Celsius, one should pack the outfits that will keep them warm and cozy throughout their trip.

Dasdeya's 7 days trip to Egypt

We had a great time with our family in Egypt. Many thanks to Travel Traingle for their management. We had a smooth trip. We went with two senior members and one toddler. They made sure to execute the plans as per schedule. The agent from India, Aman was very polite and answered whenever we had any question prior and in the middle of the trip. The agent from Egypt, Ali was polite and well mannered as well. At the day of Eid, when we were supposed to visit one place in Luxor in the evening, the guide was not available and we got to know that once we were ready and waiting for him. We contacted Aman since Ali was unavailable. Aman contacted and let us know about the plan being postponed to next day. We had a great trip next day and we covered all the places. I think, due to Eid, we had this minor issue. otherwise, everything went great! We would definitely recommend this travel planner for your next Egypt trip.

It was an amazing experience dealing with Flying Feet adventures especially Amaan Ji and Aly and the local team in Egypt. Amaan has exhibited the highest standards of responsiveness, proactiveness, service and flexibility. Besides the trip logistics and dealing with last minute changes, even helping arrange medicines with different brand name was easy for him. We enjoyed all aspects of the trip and overall had a good family like atmosphere. Kudos Egypt tour, Alexandria Visit, Abu Simbel, Luxor and Philae Temple

Rama's 4 days trip to Egypt

Things that worked well 1. Visa processing 2. Despite the request being last minute, the team managed to put an itinerary together which was decent 3. The tour guides were polite, punctual and approachable. 4. Luxor hotel was very nice Things that didn't work at all 1. Day 1 - Arrived @7AM, dropped at hotel by 9AM and had to wait till noon or pay extra to check in. If this was the case, it should have been mentioned clearly. In fact what is misleading is the pre-departure document - it clearly states Day 1, pick-up from airport, drop at the hotel and check-in. It should have stated that we will need to wait till noon for check-in. I will not recommend the Giza hotel. 2. Day 1 in essence was wasted - we had the whole day but nothing was planned 3. The hotel where we stayed for the 1st 3 days was far away from the city and transport to the city was not feasible. There was nothing near the hotel, so after the day of touring there was nothing to do, and the neighborhood wasn't great. 4. The trip turned out to be expensive. In comparison, we did Alexandria on the 12th on our own by renting a cab and was far cheaper.

Sreya's 7 days trip to Egypt

We visited Egypt during the second week of March. It was a 7 nights 8 days trip which even included Nile Cruise. We had visited Cairo, Aswan, Luxor & Hurghada during this tenure. Our entire trip was organised by Amaan from Flying Feet Adventures. We had primarily gone ahead with them because of Amaan. He was quite transparent about the costing & the total package price. Even he has helped us customise our itinerary as per our requirements. He was approachable & would reply to queries at any point of the day. Only think I would like to highlight here is one should confirm the room categories before booking the package as otherwise room will be allocated as per availability. Keeping that aside rest everything was taken care by Amaan. The local tour operator Mr.Aly & his team in Egypt were also friendly & helpful. Our tour guides at Cairo, Aswan & Luxor were quite informative. Best part of our trip was our stay at Hurghada, again thanks to Amaan for suggesting us to add it to our itinerary. Overall we had an amazing trip & returned home with a bagful of memories which we'll cherish lifelong.

It is often very difficult to envision and approach the planning of a trip to a place you know little about.. But, Amaan from Flying Feet really came through and presented us with a joyous pack of memories to cherish forever. It was nothing less than commendable how Amaan helped us draft an ideal itinerary for Egypt with very specific details about each place - how much travel time does it involve, best time to visit and how can it be accommodated with other things on the list, fatigue one could potentially experience and every single bit I could think of! Their connect in Egypt and transition between drivers/guides from one local site to another was as smooth as it could be. Food (each meal of the day to be specific) , cabs for travel, tour guides, hotel and even the check ins, entry tickets, inclusions like hot air balloon and snorkelling, how to deal with the locals, currency conversions (to and fro) - everything was taken care of. The availability 24x7 on the trip and prompt responses even on the tiniest concern was really appreciable. A trip as perfect as I'd like it to be! Gist of our itinerary - Cairo/Giza - Aswan - Abu Simbel - Aswan - Luxor - Hurghada - Cairo 3N Cairo - 3N Cruise - 2N Hurghada

Kavya's 8 days trip to Egypt

A mixed bag overall. Sumit from Flying feet worked with us to get our ideal itinerary for Egypt in place and within budget. But we had to follow up for the vouchers and tickets many times, and towards the end he just told us to get it from the Egypt agent only. The hotels were good, with deluxe rooms booked in Cairo for 2 nights for my dad’s birthday. All visits and tour guides were good, especially our Egyptologist guide for Cairo was excellent. But on the last day in Luxor, we got up at 5 am for the hot air balloon and we’re the only people in the lobby. It had been cancelled due to bad weather and no one called us to tell us, although other groups had been informed. The trip operator for Luxor never spoke to us, leaving the local tour guide to communicate with us. We were told the flight from Luxor to Cairo that night would be for 8 pm, but were not given the tickets till the same afternoon. And then it turned out to be a flight at 11 pm. There was no arrangement for dinner, and we were told to just wait in the lobby of the cruise where we had already been checked out. In the end since my parents, nearly 60, needed dinner before the flight, we booked a taxi ourselves for 450 EGP out of our own pocket to take us to McDonald’s and the airport. So the Luxor trip operator was useless, and I could have done better on my own. Other than that, the tours were all great and MR Aly who handled the Cairo part was very helpful. As mentioned he got us Nile view rooms in Fairmont Nile too. One thing - he told us on the first day we needed to give $50 per person as deposit for the cruise, and that our beverage expenses onboard would cancel against this. Then the cruise would give us back the balance. But the cruise had never heard of this- I had to pay the bill by card. Mr Aly claimed later that we were always going to get the money back from him only. Then why did he take the $250? Booking with travel triangle and flying feet gave us some benefits of the trip that we wouldn’t have had within our budget otherwise, but for now they still owe me a refund for the hot air balloon and taxi fare. The headaches of following up and mismanagement in Luxor were also not great. Our Egyptologist guide who also spoke fluent Hindi, and our deluxe rooms in Nile fairmont

It was a marvellous trip to splendid Egypt. The trip was well managed, thanks to the teams in Egypt and India. The hotels were chosen really well, with excellent amenities and locations with amazing views. The tour was guided well to incorporate the items in our itinerary - including pyramids, Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor, Hot air balloon, Hurghada desert safari and red sea reef diving/snorkeling, Alexandria and Cairo.

The whole trip was conducted very well, the history was explained by the guides very well. This proves that they are knowledgeable. Almost everything was in a timely manner. Drivers in Airport, Cairo and Aswan was really good and helpful. But the driver in Luxor was very rude, Ill mannered to the kid and he asked for 100 EGP when we were eating food. He was not ready to listen and he forced me to pay the amount. This was a bad part. It has to be the pyramids of Giza and Saqqara tombs.

The Luxor hotel provided in Port Blair was decent, Reef Valley resort in Neil Island was excellent with greenery all around, HHBR in Havelock had a beachside attached and the rooms were great. Food was really good in all 3 hotels. All in all a 5 star trip with no complaints whatsoever The Sunset in Neil Island beach was exceptional, Radhanagar beach and Elephant island were really good.
