1. The driver we got was not experienced and was trying to save on fuel all the time. 2. He received a fine for staying longer in the airport but was asking us to pay for the fine. Driver must know what time to come to the airport and pick the clients. If he gets a fine for staying in no parking zone for long time, it must NOT be put on the client. 3. He lied to us that in Rishikesh there is a taxi union and outside taxies don't run there. Hence, we must take a local tempo and they will charge us rs. 500. This is really ridiculous. Another example to show that he was trying to save on fuel. 4. When we reached Rishikesh it was very hot around 30 deg Celsius. When asked to turn on the ac, he said he cannot turn on as the average of the vehicle will come down. This is utter nonsense. 5. We then requested our tour organizer Shiv darshan tourism's Shivangi and she immediately changed the driver and vehicle. 5.a. the trip was initially plabbed to go from Badrinath to Rishikesh in one day. But the driver constantly pestered us to take a pitstop at an intermediate location, so we had to book another hotel in Rudraprayag for 1 night. He is very slow in driving. Took around 12 hrs to cover 8 hrs from uttarakashi to pipalkoti. Later, we came to know from the new driver that Badrinath to Rishikesh is very common and most tour packages are like this. No need to take break in between at all. 6. The new driver was very good. Hope we got him in the beginning itself. 7. Support from Shivangi and Shivani is really appreciated. They took care of everything throuout the trip. Badrinath temple darshan. Gangothri.

We were given a nice deal by 1 point 5 billion agent. Hotel were with basic amenities but were clean. Locations of the hotels were good. Hotel Routela in Barkot, Hotel Inder Palace in Uttarkashi, Hotel Om Kutir in Badrinath ji, Hotel Sachin International in Rudraprayag were nice but Guptkashi Hotel New Pandey Inn should be changed to other hotel. Cab Swift Desire was nicely maintained and clean. Driver Mr. Ajay was quite experienced. We were only two persons(my mother and myself) so swift desire is nice But if you are 4 or more then Innova/scorpio is advisable to have higher ground clearance of the chassis for more comfortable journey. During the chardham yatra one should start early the cab journey everyday around 6am to avoid the peak rush hours while going and coming back and thus one can come back in hotel before sunset. Travel agent 1 point 5 billion Mr. Sandeep is very smart in planning and was giving prompt and efficient service. As I wanted to go to Kedarnath ji by Helicopter so he advised me that next day while returning from Kedarnath, I should directly go to Badrinath ji instead of going/staying back in Guptkashi. There by I saved one day and thus my total duration of Yarta was 9 days and 8 nights. I have already recommended and one of my known family friend Mr. Jha already planned their chardham yatra in sept 2019 with 1 point 5 billion. All days/darshans were memorable during the trip. But the best part was that we did our chardham yatra during Navratri and apart from having darshans normally in all char dhams , we did manage to have Kedarnath ji and Badrinath ji darshan in same day on 7th october 2019

Omprakash's 6 days trip to Uttarakhand

I had booked this trip for my parents and as per their feedback, they are happy with the entire trip (Haridwar - Rudraprayag - Badrinath). Initially, I was a bit skeptical to go ahead with Krishna Holiday’s because as per the travel triangle they have done around 87 trips so far and this trip was just for my parent who are a senior citizen and no one along with them accompanying, but it went well. My all thanks to Rinky Yadav who was managing the entire trip for us. She was constantly doing the follow up during the journey and making sure that they are not facing any problem. The Journey started with Haridwar junction station, where on the last-minute driver was changed but she made sure that another driver who was assigned reached in time for pick up and he was there for the entire trip and drop them back to Haridwar station at the end. Even assigned driver (Kishore) was locality and knowing the route properly and made sure that all the important place in the itinerary were covered properly. Also, due to landslide, their stay in Badrinath had to be cut short and subsequent accommodation had to be adjusted but again thanks to Rinky here, she made sure that all adjustment is done in time and same has been communicated properly, in short, it went hassle-free. Overall, it had been a good trip! Thanks Krishan Holiday’s and its entire team in making the trip memorable.

Changes in the hotel which were confirmed - The hotel agreed on the voucher for haridwar for 2 nights were different from the one provided. The hotel for Kedarnath was cancelled and no other arrangements were made. All these things were informed after I reached haridwar. I was told to look for my own hotel in Kedarnath. Bad conditions of hotels- The hotel of haridwar was very poor in service and cleanliness. The bathrooms were not cleaned and cupboards were dirty. The hotel in Badrinath had it's Breakfast and Dinner in another building on the 2nd floor with no lift. False booking confirmation- Hotel in Mathura was not booked. Had to wait for 1 hour with family in 40°c before getting the confirmation that too after checking for availability in another hotel near by. Travel agent feedback- Travel agency was unapologetic about changes in hotels. They were very casual about it. I had agreed to pay the remaining balance using card but was asked to pay in cash. The travel agency owner and their employees had a complete miscommunication. I had to struggle to get cash from ATMs on the way to kedarnath. Had to take it from the driver at the end. Travel agent did mistake in booking helicopters. He managed to book it for only 4 instead of 5. It was not the issue of availability of tickets but he booked the 5th ticket with a duplicate name. I had to argue to get back 100% of my helicopter ticket price. I was assured to get my breakfast and dinner expense at mathura reimbursed. The amount was 1600 and they reimbursed only ₹1500. It is not about the ₹100 which is left but about their professionalism. My only motive to have everything booked through an agency was to have a stress free trip. I guess I would have had less stress if I had booked everything on my own. Would not recommend explore India destinations to anyone for sure. Haridwar hotel on voucher - Urmi actual - Park grace Kedarnath hotel on voucher- GMVN actual - cancelled with no replacement. Rudraprayag hotel on voucher - Sun international actual - Suri Driver was friendly and vehicle condition was good.

Raghavmundhra's 10 days trip to Char Dham

While booking the trip, I had hoped that I am gifting a trip of a lifetime to my parents and relatives, but it turned out to be something else due to careless attitude shown by the agents involved. Here’s a long and painful list of negatives of the trip: The Driver - The Driver was completely unaware of the route and wasn’t accustomed to drive in the hills endangering the lives of all on board (including himself). He didn’t have GPS and kept asking for directions every now and then. Also, he took the wrong route twice thereby delaying the trip The Vehicle - The vehicle was sub par and didn’t even have an AC due to which the family had to bear severe heat and dust on the way till Dehradun which is a good 3 hour from Haridwar. We were aware that AC won’t be required in Hills, but there was no mention in the itinerary that the passengers would be taken through hell in plains. The passengers had to literally shout and de-board midway to force the travel agency to provide better Vehicle and Driver The Hotels - - The hotels were all different from what was written in the itinerary uploaded in Travel Triangle. In the final itinerary shared separatley on my email, the final list of hotels was conveniently changed to more than one options along with an option ‘Similar’. Still somehow we made up our mind as Darshan was our first priority not the hotels. But what ensued was nightmare for the travellers. - All the hotels provided were far from actual location. - The Hotel owners kept pegging us for money that was due from the Agent. Infact the Hotel owner in UttarKashi was so hostile, he even refused to provide us proper food and facilities saying the money was very less. We had to offer money from our side for a decent meal. He was so ill mannered that - the passengers had to wait for good 45 mins in lobby after a long trip despite furnishing the provided vouchers - The hotels in Barkot & UttarKashi didn’t even have drinking water or jugs available. We had to buy water out of our own pocket. - We were asked to pay 5000 rupees (which we kept as a security with us till trip completion) to the hotel owner in Sitapur on day 8 before leaving - Very bad reputation of the agent Among Hotel owners for not paying up money. - On day 6 in Sitapur, The hotel didn’t even have 4 rooms as promised and provided 1 room in different cottage which was again below average. - The hotel info\voucher for Sitapur wasn’t shared till the last moment despite several reminder calls. Yes we did ask for a change in the hotel just the previous day, but the voucher was still not shared for pre-booked hotel as late as the last day. - Day 7 accommodation was different than day 6 and wasn’t even a hotel, it was a lodge and instead of buffet dinner, we were made to eat out in a dhaba. Just to ensure that we are fair and just in our description, I am also stating the 4 positives of the trip: - The 2nd Driver and Vehicle were both very good. The driver was really knowledgable and well versed with the trip, kept guiding us throughout. Even he hadn’t received full payment from the agent for the trip - On the last day, when we were stuck in jam and couldn’t make it to Srinagar on time, we were made available of an accommodation halfway in Rudraprayag on an ad-hoc basis. But that too was only after calling the agent more than twice and finally showing our dissatisfaction. - The hotel owners in all places (except in UttarKashi) were all polite and humble - All The 4 Darshans of course were all good and made the trip memorable and less painful. (This of course has nothing to do with the Agent). As you can see from the above points that even from an impartial stand-point, the negatives far outweigh the positives, It needs to be communicated to Vaishnavi Holidays in strict terms that an esteemed and reputed organisation like Travel Triangle values and maintains high standards of service and commitment towards its customers and there is no free-pass for its partners who lack the same. Although, I strongly believe that no material compensation would be sufficient enough to make up for the agony the passengers had to endure throughout the journey, still out of a total package of 1,64,000 INR, an amount approximating to minimum 30000 INR is what we estimate to have been cheated upon in terms of promised services. In such a helpless and hopeless state of mind, I can only request Travel Triangle to help us out here to restore the sense of justice justice for it’s customers as we feel conned, harassed and most of all, humiliated by the whole sequence of events. Let me know in case we need to furnish more info. Regards, Raghav Mundhra M: (+91) 931 339 5366, (+91) 807 7563 059

A mixed experience throughout the journey. I would rate this trip as average. As mentioned in the itinerary, all the hotels were deluxe but it was not so. Ganga Resort in Govind ghat,Phata and Pushparaj Grand ,Rudraprayag were the only hotels which were Deluxe. The hotel in Uttarkashi (namely) Shiv Ganga View was pathetic, not even a 2-star hotel, the room rates were INR 1400 for 3 people as displayed on the hotel reception. The food was bad, rooms were stinking, no geyser, window glass were broken and lastly there were rats. I complained to the agency about the hotel and to change it but lame excuses like we did not receive your message were given. However there was slight improvement in the services on the 2nd day. About Hotel Devbhoomi and Gujarat Bhavan, room were average but the hotel staff was very helpful. The cab driver was decent. The trip could have been planned better, a day or two could have been reduced if the hotel allocation was done correctly. I had paid 50% of the trip cost at the start still the agent called me to pay some amount to the hotel or cash to the driver randomly, there was lack of professionalism. Service was not great as compared to the payment.I would not like to plan a trip with Mahadev Travels again. Uttarakhand is beautiful with its mountains, clean rivers, snow clad mountains and dense forests. The scenic beauty of the place is amazing. Our stay at Ganga Resort was good, we enjoyed it. One must visit Lakhamandal, Chopta, Gopeshwar Temple on the way.

It was an amazing trip and would like to specially mention Mr. Ashutosh from CareMyTrip who helped a lot in arranging an alternate heli service when our helicopter service for Kedarnath Ji got cancelled. The choice of hotels given to me was great except for 'Hotel Ekant Resort' in Uttarkashi and ‘Hotel Pushpdeep Grand’ in Rudraprayag. I had an MAP plan (Breakfast and Dinner Included) but the restaurant at Hotel Ekant served us pathetic food. The food was either undercooked or burnt. Once they also served us stale food which had a pungent smell due to which I had to take my family to a different restaurant for dinner. I would recommend removing Hotel Ekant Resort from the list of options for future customers. At Hotel Pushpdeep Grand the Contact Person Mr. Harish was very rude. The hotel did not have any running water available in the bathrooms when we checked in and when asked for basic toiletries, clean sheets & drinking water Mr. Harish (who was often busy on his personal phone calls) said he cannot provide all of them and even told me to check out and look for some other hotel. It was then some other guy from the hotel staff arranged those things and apologised on his behalf. Apart from these issues everything else was great. Also especially mentioning our Cab Driver Mr. Kailash Chandra Chamoli aka Mr. Karan. He was a very decent person and very punctual. It was because of his proper time planning that we could complete our Char Dham Yatra successfully and also cover so many other beautiful sights. My family & I would love to visit Uttarkhand again with the same driver Mr. Karan. Stay at the Yamuna River Bank Resort in Barkot and also the feeling after the darshan of Kedarnath Ji
