With its numerous hiking trails, close proximity to Yellowstone National Park and the various streams in and around the city, this town has become the tourism hub of Montana. The West Yellowstone packages will take you through a splendid journey wherein you will come face-to-face with grizzly bears, see an absolutely breathtaking sunset at Hebgen Lake, get acquainted with the unique wildlife around you, walk through game trails, and get a glimpse of the Wild West Yellowstone Rodeo! The many attractions of this place don’t just end here. The scenic view all around makes the deal even sweeter. The cuisine here is the classic steak and fries that loads you up with carbs and proteins. Nevertheless, food is something that just cannot be missed.

BEST TIME TO VISIT

SUMMER SEASON

This season is apt to partake in outdoor activities. Fishing is a popular activity that takes place in West Yellowstone during the summer months. The trout come to the surface to breed and hence provide the perfect opportunity for hooking them. Hiking and Western Horseback Riding also are a few favorite summer sports. The famous Wild West Yellowstone Rodeo is also held during the summer months!

SPRING SEASON

The Spring brings tiny rivulets of waterfalls from the mountains as the ice melts. The green splashes of color that bloom throughout West Yellowstone gives a special charm to the spring season. A part of West Yellowstone is roped off and only allows bicyclists. This helps them get acquainted with the spring blooms intimately. It is also the time when bison begin calving and the city is dotted with reddish calves. It is the perfect time of the year to spot grizzly and black bears as well. This is the season where you can get your hands on the first bear jams of the year too!

The immense fields of powdered snow make it the perfect destination for snowmobiling as well as skiing. The numerous geothermal lakes and geysers make West Yellowstone a haven for winter vacations. The winter games start during this time of the year. The fishing tournament attracts novice as well as professional fishermen from all over the Country!

BEST PLACES TO VISIT THROUGH WEST YELLOWSTONE PACKAGES

Hebgen Lake has beautiful sunsets. The lake is also perfect for fishing. It hosts the biggest fishing festival of Montana and attracts fishermen from far and wide. The freshwater lake is fed by the glaziers and the mountains.

The Museum of the Yellowstone

The museum of the Yellowstone documents the entire history of Yellowstone- with its emergence to its tourist boom. It also plays the history in IMAX on a large screen for everyone to see.

Earthquake Lake

This lake was created when a mountain fell while a 7.5 magnitude earthquake hit Madison Valley. The natural lake creates an unusual sight for all those who come to see it.

Parade Rest Guest Ranch

Rohithkp's 7 days trip to Bali

I and my wife just thought of going to Bali over some random conversations and yeah in a day we already a itinerary for Bali! This is was our first trip with travel triangle and absolutely loved it. It was hassle free and no glitches anywhere. The hotels were good and the vehicle provided was good. The driver was also a local guide who was really friendly and always punctual. The trip to Nusi Penida island was the best of all the places we visited! Just amazing! We only explored the west part. Next time hoping to visit East.

It was combined speed boat transfer so other guest also stopped because of us. And they forcing hotel staff why are you westing our time why we wait for them . Almost one hour we waited . We reached at resort 4. 00pm one hour late. It’s very worst experience for us.

Parthasarathi's 4 days trip to Mauritius

I must say it was a great trip to Mauritius with all it's natural beauty and mesmerizing sea beach. Enjoyed the activities, water sports etc (though those are pretty costly). 1. Tour Operator & Hotel - Provided flight and hotel booking well within time. But initially they sent quotation for LAGOONA BEACH RESORT hotel (situated in Eastern coast of Mauritius). Later they changed the hotel and booked HOTEL MANISA (situated in West Coast). Location at West coast is also good. But Manisa hotel is not up to the mark in term of cleanliness and overall service. Provided very limited options of food in breakfast and dinner. Both were included in our package. Lagoona Beach hotel was providing one complementary lunch for us (as honeymoon couple), but Manisa didn't provide that. 2. Drivers/Local tour Operators at Mauritius - They were pretty good with punctuality & services. Helpful and well behaved. Overall experience is good. But it could have been better.

Richa's 3 days trip to Maharashtra

We chose Your Hotel Stay for our Mahabaleswar-Panchgani trip. Our trip began from Saturday morning. On Saturday we went around various places in Mahabaleswar. The elephant head point and the Shiv temple is something I would love to recommend. Just a walk away from Shiv temple is an archeological site which should not be missed. On this site there is a Shiv ling belong which Krishna river is flowing. The next day we went to Wai and this was recommended by driver. I will recommend this place. It is an unexplored tourist destination. The place is very cheap for boat rides and water sports. One must visit Dhom Dam for the nature's beauty and water sports. Wai also has a Ganesh temple. On the same day we went to Panchgani which has various points. I will suggest Table Top point where one can go and checkout tiger caves. Thanks to the driver's suggestion we got to see the beautiful town named Wai. People who are planning Mahabaleswar-Panchgani trip should also include Wai in the list. Our stay arrangements were made at West Hill hotel. The hotel is neat and clean. Hotel staff is courteous and polite. Only problem is that there is no lift and the restaurant is at 3rd floor. On weekends they play live music. The singer is really good. However I will suggest that the singer should interact more with audience and if requests are given then he should sing them sportingly A visit to Wai

Riya and Abhishek from Raisoone Travels (Our Travel Agent) was very knowledgeable and made efforts to make our trip successful. Tsaungu lake was the best. We experienced a snow fall and driver was very opt of the trip having knowledge of each and very small things. Hotel at Gangtok (Powring Guest House) was the best. Overall superb experience. Not able to visit Lachen due to road closure but our days was fully utilized in visiting best places in Gangtok.... Highly recommending Raisoone Travels for planning Sikkim - Darjeeling Tour.

Prayag's 10 days trip to Sikkim - Gangtok - Darjeeling

Recently (Dec'19) we visited Sikkim for our honeymoon through Tourepedia tour services via Travel Triangle. Before starting with the trip details, I would like to thank Mr. Rajat,m Sharma, Mr. Mehul and the entire team of Tourepedia who made the entire trip an amazing start to our lifetime journey. Now Starting with the tour, our journey was divided into four places spread across West Bengal (Darjeeling) and Sikkim ( Pelling, Lachung and Gangtok) Bagdogra - Darjeeling :: We took a flight from Mumbai to Bagdogra where our cab was already waiting for us to our mesmerizing journey of our first trip to North East. It was a 2 and half hour journey from Bagdogra to Darjeeling. Upon our arrival at Darjeeling, the hotel we were accomodated was Dekeling Resort Darjeeling. The Hotel staff ensured that all the basic amenities were kept ready before we reach the hotel. We received a very warm welcome by the hotel staff, our stay at this hotel was really amazing. we did not have anything for the rest of the day. So we relaxed at the hotel for the day. Please click the below link to see a detailed review Check out this review of Udaan Hotels | Dekeling Resort on Google Maps https://goo.gl/maps/oZtn43ahXcwjzCUt6 On day two of our stay at Darjeeling, we visited Tiger Hill and saw the Sun Rise over Mt. Kanchenjunga. We also visited Ghoom Monastery & Batasia Loop, a quirky Toy Train railway track that spirals around the Gorkha War Memorial. While returning to the Hotel, we also visited Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda and Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, the largest high altitude zoo in India -- PNZ Zoological Park. If you do visit this place, please do not forget to do Indoor rock climbing (if you like it) the main attraction of this zoo is the Red Panda. We would specially like to thank few of the Hotel staff who made our stay amazing, but not limited to only these employees. Housekeeping :: Dipen F&B :: Alex (Chef) , Sushmika and Sushant. Reception :: Aditi and Sandeep. Darjeeling - Pelling :: Post our check out at Hotel, we started our journey towards Pelling. It was a 3 hour journey. We were provided accommodation at Magpie Chestnut Retreat. Please click below link to see my detailed review Check out this review of Magpie The Chestnut Retreat on Google Maps https://goo.gl/maps/W8EvWyeHSwkGhfZGA It was already dark by the time we reached the Hotel ( it gets dark by around 5 PM in North East region, so please plan your journey accordingly) .The stay was okay, as there were minor Hiccups. Though the staff was helpful, the services and facilities provided were not upto the mark. There were issues with the food, the Heater in the room which added to our thoughts to change our stay. These issues were not completely resolved, but definitely were minimized to an extent. All the credit goes to Mr. Mehul here. Thank you Our 4th day started with the divine sunrise as the Snow clad Mountain peaks turned orange-yellow when sun rays fall onto these, the view which was available straight from our Hotel Room. We visited the Kanchenjunga waterfall, the Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdentse ruins. There was even a planned visited to Helipad, the rock garden and the khecheopalri lake. However, thanks to the quick observation of our driver, Pema, who by the time knew our taste buds. He understood that we might not be interested in these things and instead made us visit Sky Walk Pelling Sikkim which is the only Glass Sky Walk in India as of Dec, 2019 ( to the best of my knowledge). The view from this sky walk is amazing. You may also like to visit the Buddha temple and statue which also has a spectacular view from the top. Pelling - Gangtok :: Post check out from the hotel, we headed towards Gangtok through Ravangla, which was the only sightseeing on our enroute to Gangtok. However, again, as I earlier mentioned, thanks to Pema our driver, he made us visit Chardham (wherein you will be able to do a mini yatra to Chardham and also be able to have the darhsan of 12 Jyotirlinga's). Ofcourse, we'd paid him an extra 2.5K for this journey. But it was worth a trip. Our overnight stay was at The Lindsay Cheu Den Kingston as we'd to leave for Lachung the next day. Gangtok - Lachung :: After breakfast, we proceeded to Lachung. The route meanders through small villages with valleys up to forest grove of Kabi Langchuk. Also we visited seven sister waterfall , Naga waterfall. We reached the Hotel by afternoon. We were welcomed with hot cup of tea. The manager Mr. Santu is very courteous and makes sure that we don't find any issues during our stay and also that all the requests are taken care of. This hotel, I must say was best of our stay in our entire journey in Sikkim. It's not just because of the service and facilities provided. But because of the home made food that was prepared by the in-house catering staff. Mr. Manteswar , the chef, and his team, made every effort in letting us feel that we're having food at our home, rather than having it at the hotel. Kudos to the team for the effort. For my detailed review, please click the below link. We were supposed to visit Yumthang Valley the next day. However, due to the weather we were restricted to Snow point, which is also a good place to step by. Please click the below link to see my detailed review Check out this review of Delight lachung heritage Hotel on Google Maps https://goo.gl/maps/rkPxknSHFcDRq7fR6 We headed back to the Hotel, where we had our lunch post which we checked out to reach back to Gangtok. Gangtok :: We reached Gangtok by evening and were now waiting eagerly for our visit to Nathula Pass in hope that our Permits were issued and this time weather won't betray us, like it did in Yumthang. The next day, we woke up to the refreshing smell of hills and had a filling breakfast before proceeding for the day’s sightseeing tour as we were really happy to know that our permits were ready and that there was no problem with respect to the visit for Nathula. We Set off on our excursion to Tsomgo Lake near Gangtok. It known for changing colours, the Tsomgo Lake is among the most visited tourist attraction in Gangtok. Further, visited the famous Baba Mandir built in fond memory of Late Major Baba Harbhajan Singh. The show stopper for the day was Nathula. Nathula is a mountain pass in the Himalayas in East Sikkim district. It connects the Indian state of Sikkim with China's Tibet Autonomous Region. The pass, at 14,140 ft above mean sea level, forms a part of an offshoot of the ancient Silk Road. Nathu means "listening ears" and La means "pass" in Tibetan. On the Indian side, the pass is 54 km east of Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. Only citizens of India can visit the pass, and then only after obtaining a permit in Gangtok. We headed back to our hotel to end this tiring day. The next day was a leisure day for us as we'd kept this day as a buffer in case of any miss happening. Fortunately, nothing sort of that happened and we spent our day roaming at the MG street, buying souvenirs for our loved one's etc. The next day was our last day in Sikkim as we'd our returning flight to Mumbai. Barring few minor Hiccups 1) In Darjeeling, as the car which was supposed to take us to Pelling had a breakdown and we had to stay back at the hotel for couple of hours. 2) In Pelling during our stay at the Hotel. Things like this do happen, when you're on a long trip. However, Thank you Travel Triangle (Ms. Shivani Sharma) , Thank you Tourepedia (Mr. Rajat Sharma and Mr. Mehul) and the entire team who worked hard to make sure that this becomes our memorable journey all together. To see my other reviews, please check the link below where, you can find reviews of all the places I've been through. See what I've posted to Google Maps Level 7 Local Guide https://maps.app.goo.gl/6nmGc8ZkEwtUGac58 Nathula Pass and Snow Point at Lachung

Sujay's 12 days trip to USA

I had to cancel my east coast and west coast travel due to personal emergency. What disappointed me was that the agency did not offer to refund any money incurred for west and east coast travels (the unused portion of my trip) . In fact, for the rerouting I was asked to pay INR 14500. I had already paid a total of INR 6.8L for the whole trip but ended up using only a portion of the trip. I felt that the agency could have been fair and refunded a portion of the money paid for the unused trip.

BEST THINGS TO DO IN WEST YELLOWSTONE

    Snowmobiling

West Yellowstone is considered to be one of the most perfect destinations for snowmobiling. Amateurs to professionals, everyone gathers here during the winter for snowmobiling. The powdered meadow serves as an excellent platform for the same.

    Fishing

Fishing is quite popular in West Yellowstone. Silver-finned trout as well as big trout swim to the surface and entice the fishermen. This gave birth to the biggest fishing tournament in Montana. Fishing is particularly popular during the summers and spring.

    Hiking

The various game trails and hiking trails spread all over the mountains make it the best place for hiking and other extreme physical sports. The hiking trails allow you to see the wildlife in their natural habitat.

    Rodeo Sightseeing

Be sure to attend the Wild West Yellowstone Rodeo which takes place in the summer months. The long-lived traditions showcase hardened rodeos and cowboys who encapsulate the essence of the South. The rodeo games are truly amazing and show an important part of the Montana-culture.

    Biking

During the spring, a particular section of West Yellowstone is blocked away and allows passage only to bicycles. This is to encourage the bikers to appreciate the blooming spring blossoms more intimately as well as get acquainted with the wildlife in their natural habitat. Biking, thus becomes an essential thing that you have to partake in if you choose to visit during the Spring.
