- Summer in Dubai witnesses extreme temperatures. Hence the tourists are advised to avoid visiting between May to October. However, for an unavoidable trip, tourists should carry an umbrella, apply best sunscreen lotions and always wear cotton garments.
- Never forget to carry the prescriptions for medications one is subjected to since Dubai is quite particular about drugs and its ban.
- Stay away from the scams in the name of lucky draws. Always check out for additional scams from the taxi drivers who might incur some irrational charges for the outstanding fare.
- Visitors preferring alcohol consumption are advised to opt for the hotels which will allow exposure to alcohol. Since the city is a hub for the Muslim community, alcohol is banned at many places.
- Dubai is strict about many social rules and it neither appreciates the public display of affection between couples nor the insensible dressing of the visiting tourists.
