The first option on how to reach Burj Khalifa chosen by most of the visitors here is a taxi driver from the Dubai Airport. The taxi drivers may either drop the passengers in front of the Burj Khalifa building or at the Dubai Mall, the total journey of which takes an estimated time of 20-30 minutes. By Metro From Dubai Airport

One can easily avail the metro facilities of Dubai. However, for using the metro, one has to buy the NoI Card from the counter first. Visitors are advised to opt for the Silver NoI Card if they are to travel only once. One NoI Card allows only one adult (and children if any) and costs AED 3-7 to reach Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall. A taxi drive from the Abu Dhabi Airport is preferred by most of the visitors. A ride up to the Burj Khalifa takes an average of 1.5 hours and costs around AED 300-400. The taxi fare is determined by using argo and hence cannot be changed by bargaining.

By Bus From Abu Dhabi

For a budget trip, one can also avail the buses from the Abu Dhabi Airport. However, the time of travel is much longer than the previous option available. For this, one has to first board a bus from the Abu Dhabi Airport to reach the bus depot. This takes an average time of 20-30 minutes. From there, the visitor can take a bus to Dubai for AED 35. However, specific Silver NoI Cards charging AED 25 can also be used for the same.
