How to Reach Dubai Museum in Dubai

Dubai Museum is situated in the heart of the Al Fahidi Fort which is known as the oldest building in Dubai.

The fort housing the museum was established back in the year 1787 and is a popular historical site in itself. The museum, however, was made recently in the year 1971 with the sole motive to retain the archaeological artifacts and historical evidence of the city. The galleries of the museum are decorated with artistically crafted antiquities of the ancient cultures that were once prevalent there. A video room opens the door to the pre-oil era and shows the struggle of craftsmen, carpenters, tailors, and also portrays the relationship beautifully shared between the vendors and the buyers. However, the tourists willing to pay a visit here often wonder about the various ways on how to reach Dubai Museum. Every part of the city is easily accessible from the Dubai Airport. Hence, one can easily choose any one of the options listed below to reach the Dubai Museum. By Metro For availing the metro services of Dubai, one has to facilitate themselves with a NoI Card. For travelling only once, the individual should be selecting a Silver NoI Card which allows one adult and other children (if any). One has to take a metro up to Burjuman station from Airport Terminal 3, which takes an average journey time of 9 minutes and costs approximately $1 - $2. From there, one has to board onto another metro up to the Al Fahidi station which takes an average journey time of 2 minutes and costs between $1- $2. Henceforth, Dubai Museum can be reached after a walk of 9 minutes. After dropping down at the Burjuman station, one can also choose to walk for approximately 20 minutes up to the Dubai Museum. By Taxi The second option on how to reach Dubai Museum is a taxi ride from the Dubai Airport. The ride costing around $18- $22 or AED 55- AED 65 takes an average time of 8 minutes to reach the museum. The fare for all the taxis is same and does not entertain bargaining. By Uber If not the taxis, the visitors might also book an Uber which might cost around $6- $8.  The average time of journey is, however, the same, i.e., 8 minutes from the Dubai Airport.

    The trip planning was initially coordinated well by Shilpa and Akansha. They were responsive, answered all our queries patiently, and were supportive during the planning phase. However, the actual issues started from the very first day of the trip. The cab service was consistently unreliable. The cabs were never on time and were almost always 15–20 minutes late. We were usually given a pickup slot (for example, 9:15–9:30), but the cab never arrived within the mentioned window. I understand that these slots are planned keeping traffic conditions in mind, so occasional delays are acceptable—but this happened almost every single time. Out of the 6 days, 3 days were particularly stressful due to these delays. While some drivers were extremely polite, gentle, and stuck to what they promised, others were very disappointing. They would say they would arrive in 15 minutes but would not show up even after 45 minutes, often without proper communication. We opted for a cab service expecting convenience and peace of mind. Instead, it became a constant source of stress. We had traveled from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to Dubai in our own car and chose to use local cabs in Dubai hoping for a relaxed and enjoyable holiday. Unfortunately, by the end of the trip, we felt that driving ourselves would have been far less stressful and would have made the experience better. Another drawback was related to the hotel accommodation. We were informed that king-size beds would be provided, but the rooms had small double beds instead, which was disappointing. Overall, we are very unhappy with the services provided. My previous trip to Maldives was amazing with Travel Triangle, so I opted it again, now, it was terrible!

    The was crafted very delligently. Thy to Namita and her team who had organised this tour in short time. Here minute to minute follow up made successful. Before express my planning she came with good Idea. Hotel, transfer and sightseeing were well organised. One has to enjoy without any worry. Great.     Hotel is nice but some things look old and not so neat, breakfast also not so good. Location of hotel is good, near to metro and some of the attractions Cab and Driver: Cabs are clean and drivers were punctual in picking up on time and dropping off at the attraction or hotel. Only thing better could have been city tour but may be not much can be done with limited time we have for city tour. Services of travel agent: Overall very satisfied with the planning and services provided. Everything went very smooth with no issues. As I have said above, city tour would have been better, may be need more time for city tour. My stay at Dubai was very pleasant. Thanks to Dubai operation team of travel agent.

    Starting of the trip was nice. Limousine and desert safari guys don't know hospitality. We were not informed earlier by travel vichaar to go half n hour before for yatch ride. This mis communication spoiled our yatch ride. Overall taxis were good. Were were charged for 1 hour of yatch ride but barely got 30 minutes for the same. Future of museum, dubai frame, global village are overhyped and overpriced. Please don't waste your time in dubai mall too. Go for 3 hour yatch ride and other activities. Abu dhabi is wonderful.
