Delhi to Almora by Train: Delhi to Almora by train is not the very convenient way of traveling as there is no direct train available. The two ways to reach Almora from Delhi by train is to take a train from Delhi to Kathgodam and then take a local taxi or bus from Kathgodam to Almora. Or, you can also take a train to Lalkuan and then travel to Almora by hiring a taxi.  

 

Delhi to Almora by Car: Delhi to Almora distance by road is approximately 361 km. It will take around 8.5 hours to 9 hours to cover this distance if you choose to travel by your own car. Taxis can also be hired from Delhi to reach Almora easily. 

 

Delhi to Almora By Bus: It is very convenient to reach Almora from Delhi by bus. Direct Delhi to Almora bus can be taken from Delhi’s Anand Vihar Bus Stand. It takes around 12 hours to reach Almora from Delhi by bus. You can book from official website of Uttarakhand bus service. It will cost you around 510 INR for an ordinary Delhi to Almora bus.

The trip was great but the hotel at Mussoorie which we received on the first day was not good. The hotel was changed the next day and it was satisfactory.The trip went as planned and it was a good trip of Uttarakhand planned by Back 2 Holidays and their representative Shreya Chaturvedi! Improvement could be done with communication on WhatsApp or calls to check how the trip is going. And hotel choices could be improved.
