    • Trip to Mussoorie

As travel plan was initiated they were promised for best hotel rooms and cab facility. While first day we reached we get accommodate in different room, rather we pay very before for advance room booking. Hotel manager was said room was unavailable today so will change it tomorrow. That was very ridiculous. And cab driver was very unprofessional. On last night we were requested him to pick up us from said destination which was on hardly 1-2km from our hotel, he refused to come. That was very rude behaviour and from day one driver was influencing us to stay in dhanaulti, and discouraged us by saying that Mussoorie was not worth watching or visiting.

    • Trip to Mussoorie

My Uttarakhand trip of 6 days planned by 1 point 5 billion inches was very good except few concerns which I expect that travel agent should consider while planing any trip for better clarity and understating to make the experience excellent. 1. The agent had mentioned that the driver will be guide come driver but he was new to the route and I was expecting an experienced driver on that route so that timelines will not impact. 2. Hotels were not up to the mark. I was expecting them to be nearest to the city as promised by agent but for Mussoorie it was 10km away from city center. 3. Trip planing was a bit poor as per distance and estimation of time. 4. Agent has mentioned some of the activities in the package which are not possible during our trip, it was confusing. You should include only those activities which are possible during that period of travel. For example, Skiing in Auli in month of May.

First thing first no Itinerary details of the trip was given to the driver. He has no idea where we are going. The Resort at the Mussoorie was Excellent, Peaceful & Beautiful. To my surprise my hotel at the Dehradun was not booked.I had to change 3 hotels at Dehradun that was painful & disgusting. I had booked a 3 star hotels but the condition of the hotel at Dehradun to which I was shifted was 3rd class & later I was shiffted to a business hotel that was not at par . The cab was good. The resort & weather at the Mussoorie was very good. The location of the hotel at Rishikesh was hard to get but it was worth it

    • Trip to Mussoorie

The Mussoorie trip was good, but we had some troubles at some places, by chance I was lucky enough to change the hotel before the travel, Agents will try to trap you in terms of hotels, foolhardy trips and places with no importance at all. Best way out is to look before you leap. The driver was not willing to take up the visits as per the itinerary and tried to dissuade us not to go to all the places as per the schedule.

    • Trip to Mussoorie

Overall, the trip was well organized and went as per plan. Hotels were good on the whole. Hotel Monarch in Mussoorie has an excellent location with a great view of the hills but they have to upgrade their furniture and upholstery in the room and the common dining room - the stuffy smell caused a sneezing allergy. Hotel Devansh in Uttarkashi was simple and airy with a great view of the Bhagirathi and good homely food. Hotel the great Ananda in Hardwar had a good room but the food was average and the kitchen needs to be cleaner! The cab and driver we were assigned were very good. The experience of the driver in maneuvering the difficult hill roads was evident. Mr Sudhir from Aarav was very prompt and responsive before as well as during the trip and kept checking on us to ensure everything was alright. The stay in Uttarkashi beside the gurgling Bhagirathi river, and the visit to Gangotri - great scenery, and a divine experience.

    • Trip to Mussoorie

The hotel was excellent in terms of service. The stay was also very comfortable and food was good. But the cab driver was not cooperative. Although we booked for an AC cab, the AC was never switched on through out the journey. He was hesitant in paying parking charges at the sight seeing spots, and most of the times dropped us farbaway so that he would not be required to pay any charges. We had to walk upto a km to reach the points, whereas other cab drivers dropped their passengers till the entry gate. Moreover, he did not cover all the points mentioned inn the itenarary saying they carry tourists only to three major places to visit in Mussoorie. We had to go there on our own (eventhough we had paid for it in the package). The travel agency couldnot help much on this, and most of the time they made excuses. I felt there was lack of co-ordination between them and the driver. The stay at the hotel was the second best part (the natural scenery of Mussoorie being the best thing :) ). The candle light dinner and complimentary breakfasts were also good, service provided was excellent.
