How To Reach West Bengal From Mumbai

For those who want to travel by flight from Mumbai to West Bengal, there are regular flights to two airports here. You can take a flight from Mumbai to here and land at either the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport or the Bagdogra airport in Bagdogra city. From the airport, it is easy to hire cabs or taxis to take you anywhere in the state. You can book these taxis and cabs in advance or along with your packages to save time.

By Rail

If you are planning to travel by train from Mumbai to West Bengal, you will have to travel to either Howrah railway station or Sealdah railway station. Both these stations are located in the capital of West Bengal, Kolkata. You can also take a train to New Jalpaiguri railway station, that is located near Siliguri. From the station, you can travel by bus or taxi to any part of the state.

By Road

If you want to travel by car from Mumbai to West Bengal, you can drive down to the capital Kolkata in approximately 27hours. You can also take a bus from Mumbai to RajNagar in about 39 hours. From here, take a cab or taxi to Durgapur that takes about 2 hours and then catch a bus to Kolkata. This bus journey will take about 3 hours.
