About Beach Visit in Vienna
With the short summers in Vienna, the tourists and the people want to enjoy the warm weather after the long winters. With the first days of summer, people come out to bathe in the warm light and tables and chairs are laid on the storefront of all cafes and restaurants as well as on walkways. The beaches are generally open from the month of May until the month of September (month end), depending on the weather.

It is one of the oldest beaches of Vienna. It is the shore of Danube’s side channel with manicured lawns. But they are not artificial ones. The beach is a century old and the wading sand helps the visitors to enjoy the warm sun and fresh clean water.
