When in Dilli, do as the Dilliwale do! Talk a trek along the long stretches of bustling local markets or discover the rich past of the ancient monuments or join the creed of party-goers or fine dine at some of the posh restaurants here. Whether you want to shop, eat, party or just explore the city, we have listed below all the things to do in Delhi within a limited time.
Things to Do in New Delhi - take a trip to the heart of the country and find out all the crazy, endless things to do in Delhi once you are here -
If you are looking to try out some of the adventurous things to do in Delhi, head straight to the Atlantic Water World for some game! Kids and grown-ups will love it here as much as couples do. Explore the vibrant city of New Delhi/NCR by volunteering on a cycle tour of the city. All you have to do is register for the tour and you are good to go! To all those who look forward to trying some unusual things to do in Delhi, we suggest you try hands at rock climbing inside the city. “Where?” “Qutub Minar!” Set your foot on the granite cliffs and experience the thrill as you climb up. Love dining at lavish restaurants? You will love to savour the one-of-a-kind gastronomic experience at Dum Pukht. Have a platter of authentic Awadhi cuisine amidst a regal ambience. Or you may want to eat like a local in the aromatic food joints of Amar Colony and Lajpat Nagar. Try the artificial flavored kulfis during summer and the spicy, hot shorbas in winter. You certainly do not want to miss out on the exciting things to do in Delhi at night, do you? Head straight to the boisterous lanes of Hauz Khas market at dusk and grab yourself some martini at any of the grooviest bars here. Out of the top millennials' things to do in South Delhi, hunting for an endearing dinky locale is certainly comforting. Participate in the musical gigs or the impromptu poetry recitations at Champa Gali and relieve your own “teenage dream”. Also join a two-hour mock dance class in the Delhi Dance Academy. Learn popular dance forms of India in just two-hours. Magic, right? Shopping at sarojini nagar market is one of the amazing things to do in Delhi in February. February is the time when winter is whisking away and spring is arriving. While the garment shops are buzzing with bargaining customers, the eateries are full with food-lover. Hit the flea market stalls in Dilli Haat to shop for quirky trinkets and adorable souvenirs. Take a quick bite at the Khan Market - Go bourgeoisie-shopping at the laidback Khan Market or hangout over coffee and gooey cake only at Café Turtle. Grab a shake at Big Chill or order a plate of sushi at Yum Yum Cha for an unforgettable culinary experience. Make a visit to Qutub Minar - experience peace amidst the jostling city of Delhi. Take a day out by visiting Qutub Minar, the city’s highest archaeological tower. Walk around the complex or discover the history of its architecture.
Top Things to do in Old Delhi - Old Delhi is a love-hate relationship, personified. While the chaotic, narrow lanes scare the wits out of you, its old-world charm pulls you back to the crowded lanes. While strolling down the shimmery, moon-lit canals of Chandni Chowk remain as one of the romantic things to do in Delhi, binge eating at Chawri Bazaar’s old gullies is in the heart of every traveloholic.
Traipse all over Old Delhi - Let yourself loose in the crowded bazaars of Old Delhi. The narrow gullies are sure to remind you about the medieval era. The spaghetti streets surprise you with turns that often lead to the home of the legendary poet, Mirza Ghalib. Take a glimpse at the magnificent Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque, or Khari Baoli which is the largest spice bazaar in Asia. Also, take a stroll through the cluster of the nine well-preserved Jain havelis, built in the 18th century. Witness the grand ceremony of Changing of the Guard - Although famous yet relatively unknown, the fascinating ceremony of changing of the Guard at Rashtrapati Bhawan. Attend the relatively unknown Changing of the Guard at Rashtrapati Bhavan’s forecourt every Saturday morning. The chivalric equestrian display, guards kitted out in ceremonial regalia are sights to behold. Attend the soulful qawwali nights - Thursdays at the dargah of Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya reverberate with the soulful devotional Sufi songs. Take an opportunity to attend the qawwali and pay your homage to the spiritual maestro, Amir Khusro. Waltz into one of India’s largest mosque - Wrap your tour up at the Jama Masjid in Old Delhi. Among other best things to do in Delhi in November, especially photography happens to be one. Admire the beauty of the monument and take some captivating pictures of the arena. The sight of a flock of pigeons in flight will definitely cheer you up. For a delicious non-veg meal, dine at Al Jawahar or Karim’s, two of the oldest food institutions in India.

Trip to Sri LankaNew Delhi (Delhi), India 227 The best ! Review of Pearly Gates Lanka Reviewed 2 days ago When I booked the tour through Pearly gates I was expecting good service, but ended up being totally overwhelmed by the experience I had with this company. I first contacted Nimni over phone and was happy at her prompt answers and friendly tone.I booked with her soley on the basis of what I could guage of her over conversations on phone.( Travel Triangle was the aggregator) She had promised me a good guide cum driver and a big van for the three of us (my husband, son and I ). Rikfy picked us up from my hotel first ( I was atteding an international conference) and then my family from the airport and the next seven days we spent in Paradise ! He was a careful driver, a wonderful guide and a true friend. Attentive at all times, smiling advising, he made our tour truly special. Behind all this was Nimni - calling us to find if everything was ok. They had booked good hotels, the travel by van was very comfortable but most important - the personal touch at every moment by Rikfy made everything special. On the last evening we ordered dinner at the restaurant in Hotel Ocean Colombo but when the food didnt come even after almost an hour we were very upset. We called Rikfy and though it was after 10.30 pm he came and took us to an Arabian restaurant. As some of us are diabetic this was a life saver !.I recommend Pearly gates to everybody if you want true service with a smile, and Nimni and Rikfy really make you feel at home in Sri Lanka !
Trip to HimachalSome of the hotels are good but locations are not easily accessible particularly when there are aged tourists with you. As for New Delhi hotels, please check with the hotel authorities whether they really meet star standards. For example, Good Luck hotel at Delhi does not fulfil the standards of a three star hotel. They don't even have plates to serve the food. Manali Hotel was the best. Hotel at Shimla was very co-operative and extended all possible assistance. On the way back, New Delhi hotel was very good. In all the hotels, except Good Luck, the staff members were very helpful.
Trip to DelhiIt's awesome experience with Amazing India Tours. We have completed the tour with some wonderful memories. Our driver was so nice & gentleman. Ritesh was also so co-operative. Thanks Travel Triangle, Thanks Amazing India Tours.
Trip to HimachalDelhi & Punjab Lots of Communication GAP between the Hotel & Travel Triangle and its agent Trip Sailor.Com.

Trip to SpitiIt was an amazing experience. Eveything was completely sorted and the trip was scheduled very wisely. The vehicle was great and the driver was helpful and cooperative. No issues faced till the end of the trip. The trip was perfect. Except one little issue. The pick up point of the bus from Delhi was not confirmed earlier. The pick up point changed thrice and it was a lot of inconvience. Apart from that, everything perfecto!
Trip to HimachalOverall had a good experience except that the hotel provided to us at Manali was not as good as in Shimla. Also it took much more time communicating between all cities than mentioned in itenery like it took more than 10 hrs from Delhi to Shimla, more than 11 hrs from Shimla to Manali and more than 16 hrs from Manali to Delhi. It should have been mentioned beforehand. Our driver took us to a apple orchard near Manali which was very nice.
Trip to DelhiIt was a good trip with a great driver. But had some dissatisfaction with the way the travel agent from Carlo travels supported. The check-in timings of the hotels are not mentioned in the voucher because of which had to pay an extra amount as we reached early before the check-in time. I have also sent my flight tickets to the agent well before to plan the schedule accordingly. They should have informed me before itself regarding the same.
