How To Reach Santorini From Hyderabad

Although Santorini is a small island which can be driven across in less than an hour, the communication system it has, both within the island and inbound or outbound traffic are quite efficient.

By Air: You will not find any airlines that run Hyderabad to Santorini flights. During the summer seasons, few European carriers like Lufthansa and Turkish have flights to Santorini, but not from Hyderabad. At all other times, the only way to go is via Athens. From the Greek capital, Aegean Airlines, Ryanair or Olympic Airways have more than 8 flights everyday to Santorini Airport.

By Ferry: Most people who want to save money more than time on their vacation prefer ferries over flights to Santorinir from Athens. You have to fly to Athens anyway, but instead of spending a lot of e=Euros on a flight ticket, you can take a ferry ride which is cheaper and also offer great views of the Aegean.

By Road/Rail: Being an island country, roadways or railways don’t lead to Santorini from anywhere. Inside the island, there is public bus service at less than 3 Euros. You can hire cars for the day at 45 Euros or ATVs at 20-30 Euros. There are no railways in Santorini.
