Pune to Saputara Route

Saputara is a very beautiful and small hill station located in Sahyadris or the Western ghats. It is a great tourist destination in the Dang district in Gujarat. It is situated in the great Sahyadri ranges that lie on the outskirts of Maharashtra. The best way to reach there is by road, which is very well connected and maintained to all the Indian cities and nearby towns. Pune to Saputara distance by road is approx. 287 km and it takes around 7 hours to cover this distance. Train option is available to travel from Pune to Saputara conveniently. Read on to find out how to reach Saputara from Pune.

Pune to Saputara By Flight: There is no air connectivity from Pune to Saputara so you cannot go by air directly there. The best way is to reach Surat airport from Pune and then take a taxi which will take about 3 hours 18 minutes to reach the destination. Pune to Saputara by flight will take up to 7-8 hours with one-stop and can make your travel time a little longer.

Pune to Saputara By Train: The nearest railway station to Saputara is Waghai station in Bilimora and it is well connected by many Railway stations. This is about 50 km away from Saputara which can be covered by taxi. This is considered to be the best option and is pocket-friendly as well.

Pune to Saputara By Road:

By Bus: There are direct buses available from Pune to Saputara which will take about 1 day 4 hours time to reach. It is the most consuming route and should be taken only if the stay in Saputara is for long hours. It is convenient because the travel is direct unlike other means of transport which are not really direct. Hopefully, this solves your dilemma on how to reach Saputara from Pune.

By Car or Cab: The total road distance from Pune to Saputara is about 287 km. One can easily take a taxi to Saputara which will take you about 6 hours 51 minutes of travel time.     I have booked first time through Travel triangle. I was good experience however pre trip i have to co-ordinate with the travel agent Inland Tourway several times. Mr. Vikas was the co-ordinator for trip booking he suggested me good trip plan howeven if i need some changes in the trip then we have t
    o take followup from him again and again and most of the time he does not response quickly may be he call after one to two days also some times he does not response on whatsapp also . Still after completing my trip he has not received my call also no reply on whatsapp for GST invoice. In short i would like to say that even if you are good but you should be quick responsive at least . Also At least call to your customer during trip at least once so that customer feel that you are good in your work and also care your customer. I also did not received any call during the trip so it feels like we were solely dependent on the cab driver for all good and bad.

    In indore Aceteol tulsi hotel was not good and in Ujjain also (Kalpana palace) not so good . Other than that everything was nice and well organized.

    The hotels were good. We were disappointed with breakfast at Dwarka hotel. Also we had to walk long to visit Dwarkadhish temple which was not comfortable at all. As the cab dropped us 1km away from twmple though 4 wheelers were going till bottom of temple. Somnath and Gir were good. The overall trav
    el became hectic due to multiple visiting points which was not needed. Porbandar was very dirty and it could have been avoided in itenary. Gir stay, food and safari.
