How to Reach Barog Camping Site in Solan

Located on the Kalka-shimla highway, Barog is a small village and if you are thinking about how to reach Barog, then do not fret as we are telling you the best ways to do so. The village has a good air, road and train connectivity and you can reach the village without any hassle.

By Air:

If you are coming by air, then the nearest airport to Barog is Shimla Airport. Located at a distance of 61.4 km, it takes almost 2 hrs to reach the village from airport. Once you reach the airport, you can take a taxi or a bus to go further.

By Train:

You can reach Barog by train quite easily. The quaint village has its own railway station. Take the Kalka-Shimla toy train and get down at Barog station. Also, if you want to explore more cities you can get down at the next station on the route for some extra fun.

By Road:

Reaching Barog by road is one of the easiest ways. It has a good road network with all the major cities in Himachal Pradesh. You can take a bus from Solan which is located at a distance of 8 km from Barog.

trip was good but it includes too much travelling as i believe travel agent has to guide tha traveller about travelling hours and recommend them to increase days for covering 3 to 4 destinations my trip plan was good but it includes too much travelling otherwise experience was good

Overall, the experience is excellent except for the hotel provided in Manali as they charged extra for everything, I don't recommend this hotel to anyone. And for Shimla, most of the places were skipped and they did not show us entire places given in the trip planner
