If you share an interest in adventure and exploring the wild with your newly wed then there is no better honeymoon destination than the Kruger National Park. This is going to be one of the most exciting honeymoon destinations you can think of. Think of the intensity, if this romantic getaway becomes a lifetime adventurous experience for you. The Kruger National Park honeymoon packages along with premier safari tours are what you should aim at.

Relaxing memories with wildlife sightings are the treasure for honeymooners who expect romance and thrill together. This is one of the best destinations in the world that offers you to witness some of the huge and amazing creatures like lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants and buffalos. Hear the sound of nature in Africa, while lying under the star-studded night, by the side of your better half in a private and intimate atmosphere.

How to Reach Kruger National Park?

To experience the astonishing Game drives at Phalaborwa Gate, to stay in explorer-style tents in Wolhuter and Nyasaland, or to take foot walk safaris, plan a Kruger National Park Honeymoon. You can also explore the place with your own vehicle. But before that, are you wondering how you will reach the place?

By Air

Most visitors fly by air to O.R. Tambo International Airport (JNB) which is situated near Johannesburg. There are multiple entrances into the Park, so several connecting flights are scheduled from the above airport to different regions. Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (MQP) is the connecting airport that lies almost 40 km from southern Kruger’s Numbi Gate. There are alternative ways to reach the central and northern regions of the National Park if you fly to Hoedspruit or Phalaborwa.

Skukuza Airport is present inside the park, for which you could also plan a scheduled flight. These flights will provide a safe reach to some of the finest safari lodges present in the Kruger National Park.

By Road

If you are targeting to reach by road, the easiest way is to hire a car/cab from Johannesburg and drive to the park. Numbi Gate, the closest one is only 375 kilometers away from the O.R. Tambo International Airport (JNB). You will need to drive almost 4 to 5 hours to reach there.

Best Time for a Safari Honeymoon in Kruger National Park

The pleasant weather can be observed during the months of April-May and September-October. This is the time of the year when storms are rare and you can enjoy the honeymoon safari trips to the fullest.

Premier suites with private balconies, luxury suites with swimming pools, ultimate privacy while having lunch besides grazing giraffes are few of the exciting things that you can add while hanging out in this ambient weather.

Places to Visit in Kruger National Park

Plenty of attractions are waiting for both of you to taste the nature of South Africa. The Park will provide ample wildlife to see a huge number of species living in the park. There are many varieties of amphibians, birds, mammals, reptiles, and fishes. Bird watching sessions are equally spectacular when the colorful and playful birds are seen in the broad sunlight.

1. Sabi Sand Game Reserve

Some of the luxurious safari lodges are present along the borders of the giant Sabi Sand Game Reserve. Wildlife watching can be one of your memorable experiences in this South African Safari.

2. Elephant Hall Museum

If you are visiting Letaba Rest Camp, then it is worth visiting the Elephant Hall Museum. You will be fascinated to see the life-size skeletons of elephants and several displays from the Kruger history.

3. Kapama Private Game Reserve

13,000 hectares of the vast Kapama has all that can excite you. This is a private reserve that is maintained and preserved by just one family. Established in 1986, this family also takes care of some endangered species in a center in the southern region of the reserve.

4. Timbavati Private Nature Reserve

Situated in the western boundary, Timbavati Private Nature Reserve provides a combination of wildlife, great accommodation, and conservation. The population of white lions was once in abundance. You can also get to see all the Big Five on a single Game drive.

5. Crooks Corner

This place is highly recommended for scenic beauty and geopolitical interests. It hosts the confluence of Luvuvhu and Limpopo Rivers.

Akash's 5 days trip to Himachal

I went to shimla trip with my wife with privet cab for to & fro from gurgaon, i would request you please go through below feedback which may make your trip more hassle-free & enjoyable : 1. Hotel Royal Vista : Hotel location was not good at all, in addition to that food quality & menu not even average. 2. Amenities like: Geyser & Room heater not works properly even in this regard hotel management also not bothered. 3. In that colder environment [ Snowfall was there ] I took shower with cold water because geyser was not working or it takes huge time to warm-up the water. 4. I took honeymoon package [ Room decoration & Cake ], the quality of room decoration & Cake was not up to the mark, that cake you can easily get Rs. 100 / 150 Rupees easily, epic thing hotel person did they put up the " TAG " of " Happy Marriage Anniversary " on Cake because of that I have been scolded by my wife during the journey. 5. Last but not the least, agent may charge some extra amount with the name of " LUXURY ROOM " but once you will reached hotel than you came to know there is nothing which distinguish the normal room with luxury one. 6. Most important is security concern: hotel manager will not allow you to do your entry in their register, since I am a frequent traveler from last 10 years so i understand the importance of proper check in process, it may also get you in trouble during the police verification. I believe that above few points will surely help you out in choosing your travel-agency, the only thing which was good during the trip that was our " CAB " & " CAB DRIVER " but that was also belongs to a third-party agency. that was not a " TRAVEL TRIBE " cab it was hired bt TRAVEL TRIBE from outside. In short for next time i must have to think about different source for my travel so that i can make my trip more peaceful and enjoyable with more luxury amenities in same cost.

Hotels are just average. There is no good breakfast facilities in both the hotels. Also very limited breakfast at church in hotel 29, Bangalore. i never recommend this hotel to anyone. There is no hotwater facility for bathing at Mysore hotel during evening time while we checked in at 8.30pm. After repeated requests and complaints they had provided hot water for bathing.breakfast in the morning also too late. They provided it after 9.30pm. Bannerghatta national park safari trip, wonderla amusement park at Bangalore, night dinner at umpire restaurant near to our hotel, Brindavan garden and mysore palace are memorable moments in that trip.

Hotels in khajjiar was very pathetic .Would have been better if accomodation was provided in Dalhousie as it is just 22 KMS from khajjiar as there are less options of hotels in khajjiar. Panjhpulla was the only sight seeing spot covered at Dalhousie visit as Kalatop route was blocked due to snow. Cab driver had his problems of Fast tag payment at toll plazas which were covered by me. Just full marks for Dharamsala arrangements. Overall trip was good.Could have been better. Travel triangle should seek suggestions from those who have experienced the location which the customer wants to visit so that they can provide better itinerary solutions. Dharamsala visit only.

Nandee's 4 days trip to Himachal

This is my 2nd vacation booked via Travel Triangle. For my Shimla and Manali trip,I received 2 quotes from 2 different providers. I booked my 6 days 5 nights vacation with Mysterious Himachal Holidays for their professionalism. Agent Sakshi was too good in explaining me the quote. She clearly understood my requirements and gave me the perfect quote. The way she interacts, follow ups and co ordinating my trip was top notch. Cab drivers I got on my Shimla and Manali were also very professional and Supportive. Cabs were comfortable and clean. Everything went smooth as my planned. Thanking Sakshi for making my trip a pleasant memorable one. My Manali cab driver's communication skill was great. He took care of all my belongings during my paragliding and River rafting activities and gave us lot of recommendations which helped me to take better decisions on my trip.
