Kruger National Park Honeymoon Packages: rated 4.1/5 (based on 8262 reviews) | Packages starting from ₹90,000/-

Kruger National Park Honeymoon Packages

If you share an interest in adventure and exploring the wild with your newly wed then there is no better honeymoon destination than the Kruger National Park. This is going to be one of the most exciting honeymoon destinations you can think of.
Think of the intensity, if this romantic getaway becomes a lifetime adventurous experience for you. The Kruger National Park honeymoon packages along with premier safari tours are what you should aim at.

Relaxing memories with wildlife sightings are the treasure for honeymooners who expect romance and thrill together. This is one of the best destinations in the world that offers you to witness some of the huge and amazing creatures like lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants and buffalos. Hear the sound of nature in Africa, while lying under the star-studded night, by the side of your better half in a private and intimate atmosphere.

How to Reach Kruger National Park?

To experience the astonishing Game drives at Phalaborwa Gate, to stay in explorer-style tents in Wolhuter and Nyasaland, or to take foot walk safaris, plan a Kruger National Park Honeymoon. You can also explore the place with your own vehicle. But before that, are you wondering how you will reach the place?

By Air

Most visitors fly by air to O.R. Tambo International Airport (JNB) which is situated near Johannesburg. There are multiple entrances into the Park, so several connecting flights are scheduled from the above airport to different regions. Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (MQP) is the connecting airport that lies almost 40 km from southern Kruger’s Numbi Gate. There are alternative ways to reach the central and northern regions of the National Park if you fly to Hoedspruit or Phalaborwa.

Skukuza Airport is present inside the park, for which you could also plan a scheduled flight. These flights will provide a safe reach to some of the finest safari lodges present in the Kruger National Park.

By Road

If you are targeting to reach by road, the easiest way is to hire a car/cab from Johannesburg and drive to the park. Numbi Gate, the closest one is only 375 kilometers away from the O.R. Tambo International Airport (JNB). You will need to drive almost 4 to 5 hours to reach there.

Best Time for a Safari Honeymoon in Kruger National Park

The pleasant weather can be observed during the months of April-May and September-October. This is the time of the year when storms are rare and you can enjoy the honeymoon safari trips to the fullest.

Premier suites with private balconies, luxury suites with swimming pools, ultimate privacy while having lunch besides grazing giraffes are few of the exciting things that you can add while hanging out in this ambient weather.

Places to Visit in Kruger National Park

Plenty of attractions are waiting for both of you to taste the nature of South Africa. The Park will provide ample wildlife to see a huge number of species living in the park. There are many varieties of amphibians, birds, mammals, reptiles, and fishes. Bird watching sessions are equally spectacular when the colorful and playful birds are seen in the broad sunlight.

1. Sabi Sand Game Reserve

Some of the luxurious safari lodges are present along the borders of the giant Sabi Sand Game Reserve. Wildlife watching can be one of your memorable experiences in this South African Safari.

2. Elephant Hall Museum

If you are visiting Letaba Rest Camp, then it is worth visiting the Elephant Hall Museum. You will be fascinated to see the life-size skeletons of elephants and several displays from the Kruger history.

3. Kapama Private Game Reserve

13,000 hectares of the vast Kapama has all that can excite you. This is a private reserve that is maintained and preserved by just one family. Established in 1986, this family also takes care of some endangered species in a center in the southern region of the reserve.

4. Timbavati Private Nature Reserve

Situated in the western boundary, Timbavati Private Nature Reserve provides a combination of wildlife, great accommodation, and conservation. The population of white lions was once in abundance. You can also get to see all the Big Five on a single Game drive.

5. Crooks Corner

This place is highly recommended for scenic beauty and geopolitical interests. It hosts the confluence of Luvuvhu and Limpopo Rivers.

Ashritha's 6 days trip to North East

Meghalaya is undoubtedly a stunning destination, but unfortunately, our experience was marred by poor planning and communication from our travel agent. While the places we visited were beautiful, the agent failed to provide critical information that significantly impacted our trip. Seasonal Information Missing: Our primary intent for visiting Meghalaya was to enjoy its famous waterfalls. However, none of the waterfalls had water during our visit—something the agent never mentioned. We specifically altered our itinerary to include a river trek near Mawlyngbna, only to find out on arrival that the area was dry. Such details are fundamental and should have been communicated upfront, allowing us to adjust our plans. Itinerary Mismanagement: The agent scheduled our Double Decker Trek on a Sunday, despite it being well-known that the trek is not operational on Sundays. This could have wasted an entire day had it not been for our driver, Musaddik, who noticed the error and rearranged the trek for Saturday. This level of oversight is unacceptable from a professional travel planner. Missed Opportunities: Another significant lapse was the lack of guidance regarding the Maa Kamakhya Mandir. We were not informed about the necessity of VIP tickets, which need to be purchased a day in advance. As a result, we couldn’t enter the temple and had to settle for seeing it from outside. What Went Well: Despite the agent’s shortcomings, we appreciated our driver, Musaddik, who not only ensured our safety with excellent driving but also suggested some good spots to visit, adding a positive touch to the trip. Suggestions for Improvement Transparency: Provide detailed seasonal insights about destinations to help travelers make informed choices. Accuracy: Verify operational schedules of activities and ensure itineraries align accordingly. Proactive Guidance: Offer information about essential bookings, like VIP tickets for temples or special activities. Had we been informed well on the seasons, we would have included Kaziranga National Park, our experience would have been much more fulfilling. While we enjoyed the beauty of Meghalaya, the lack of proper planning by the agent dampened our trip’s potential.

Shivr's 5 days trip to Himachal

Lets start with the driver. In spite of his perfect driving skills and good behaviour, he could use some maturity. Asking us to be ready at 08:00, he ate breakfast at 09:15. Ttravel Vichar follow-up was non- existant but Prerna at Travel Triangle was excellent. Hotels: Nandini Villa in Dharamshalla is the very best with supper caring and professional staff. Stylia hotel in Dalhousie: The view from the room was excellent but there it all stops. They are not used to European tourists, they did not have knives to the fork, they could not offer non-veg food the first day, did not have shower in the bathroom, the electrical installations didn't work properly, the room was very cold, the electrical sockets did not fit the plug and were not placed pracyically. Worst of all, there was no wardrobe to hang clothes. Vijay, the Manager, wwas though very accomodating and did his best to make ourr bearable. Grand Cobbanaa hotel was ok but did not have hair drier. To conclude tge hotel staff in all hotels very friendly and did their best to help our stay. Hotel Nandini Villa

Bhavik's 7 days trip to Dubai

10 on 10 I was planning a vaccation to some foreign country but with a specific budget. I inquired on INSTA with my requirements through their specific and formated questioners. Then I got a call from Travel Triangle and they confirmed the same about my requirements. They have this very unique format that they forward our inquires to their 3 registered travels agents. All the 3 agents workout their packages according to our requirement and needs and give us the quotation. Based on agents rating and quotation for the package you can choose your service agent whom you feel comfortable with for booking their services In our case we booked our service through True Blue Travels as our service/travel agent. To start with True Blue Travels we were in talks with Anu madam from Delhi office who very patiently noted all our requirements and places we intend to visit and gave us the best itinerary. She guided us with the budgeted itinerary without compromising our places we wanted to visit. Also while we were in Dubai we always got prompt service and support from their coordinator Ashima Madam. As per the daywise planned itinerary we have got everything they committed us and also their services from on time vehicle, to theme park passes, to entey tickets and everything they made our transfers so easy the drivers we travelled with were so polite and well behaved, mannered, and good guides too as we use to ask them lots of question regarding the place, culture, their working experience etc,. We were 6 adults with 3 kids and none of them had any complaints regarding the service. The hotel stay, hotel service and hotel breakfast was also too good. We won't be doing justice to Travel Trinagle and True Blue Travels if we do not even share our experience associating by planning our trip with them. I would definitely recommend to my family and friends. Thank you guys (TT and True Blue Travels) for making our trip so memorable ❤️ Thanks n Regards, Bhavik Bhatt

Food taste of Manaw Valley Resort was very dull. When asked for the same they replied "we serve dull food only". Not a good experience with the food there. Apart from that no other issues with our stay in any of the hotels. Cab driver was the best I have come across. He was friendly throughout.. Paragliding

Mann's 9 days trip to Thailand

1) Hotels - Zero hospitality and inspite of early check in request, we did not get early chk in anywhere. There were hardly any veg items for breakfast. Room size in Citrus Bangkok exceptionally small...not recommended at all. Zenseana in Phuket was an average hotel and Deewana Plaza in Krabi was the best. 2) Travel - Pick and drop was on time but they kept on pinging to be on time though once or twice cab was late but we did not keep bothering them. Drivers hardly understood English except for one or two. We had to pay extra for the island tours in both Phuket and Krabi as national park fee which they made mandatory or they asked to cancel the island trip..so basically you are forced to pay out of your pocket that too in cash. However, the island tours went good. Marine safari and Dinner cruise was exceptionally good with good veg indian food and the beautiful views. Thanks for that TT !! Last day was supposedly a private tour though we had to on SIC basis..I don't know what was the confusion there. Lastly, would like to thank our travel agents to make the trip hassle free. Lucky and Kashish were helpful enough. Thanks.

Mcgregornick's 4 days trip to Kerala

Our 4 day tour of Kerala was pretty good. The tour is very prepackaged with the driver taking you to the sites he thinks you’ll want to see (the same ones everyone else is sent to see) so it doesn’t suit individuals looking to get off the beaten track. For example, we stopped at the same waterfalls as everyone else, went to the same tea museum and national park as everyone else and were scheduled to go to the same dam as everyone else (we opted out). There is no asking you what you want to do or getting to know your preferences; you are treated as just another uneducated tourist to fleece. Our driver was courteous but initially used his phone a lot while driving (videos, talking and texting) but stopped after I asked him to. Our private Alleppey houseboat was clean and beautiful but the cruising part itself was disappointing. We were only underway for a total of 3 hours out of our 20+ hours on board, meaning we were docked for 15 hours, tied up to shore. You get dropped off at the boat, cruise for 30 minutes to a small shop downriver, get the hard sell on some prawns (2000 rupees a kilo), cruise for 30 more minutes, tie up at shore, eat lunch (very tasty), crew naps, after 1.5 hours stopped, you start to cruise onto the main body of the lake, cruise for 2 hours in what is ultimately a loop and return to the exact place you boarded the boat. You tie up and sit there until 9 am the next morning, despite our itinerary clearly saying we were to cruise from 8-9 am. The boat is cool but, again, you feel like you’re getting cheated out of the 5 hours of cruising you are promised. Also, when you see 50 other boats right next to you doing the exact same thing, it takes away from the experience. Being docked on shore for the vast majority of the trip, you wonder what’s the point of getting a houseboat? Hotels in the area are much cheaper and with a day cruise, you would get to see the same things we saw. The company rep did not often respond to my messages during the trip, instead choosing to ignore rather than help solve issues. Overall, Travel unbounded isn’t bad but they aren’t great either; you leave with a lackluster vacation experience.
