How to Reach Tai O Fishing Village

The fastest route to go to Tai O Fishing Village is by taking an MTR to Tung Chung Station on the Tung Chung Line (orange) from Central then the number 11 bus to Tai O bus terminus if traveling from Kowloon. This will take 50 minutes approximately to get you there and then walk a little distance to the  Rope-drawn Ferry bridge and take a stroll along the waterfront. Another option is MTR Tung Chung Station Exit B from where you can take  Ngong Ping Cable Car to the Ngong Ping Village and it will take approximately 25 minutes, then take bus 21 to Tai O terminus which will take around 20 minutes.

Once you reach the Ngong Ping Village easiest way to reach Tai O Fishing Village is from the by taking a bus, but sometimes it's getting hard to find space on the bus as they fill up quickly then instead of waiting for another bus it is recommended to consider a taxi. The taxi stands are next to the bus stop where you can hire one according to your requirement and the ride will not cost you much. Taking a taxi is convenient for most as it takes lesser time as compared to the bus.

But if you are traveling from the Central location then for the best view, travel by ferry from the Central Ferry Pier to Mui Wo on Lantau island, then take the number 1 bus across the island. It will give you the best experience.  The easiest way for those staying at hotels is a Lantau Island Guided Tour, it starts and ends at Kowloon hotels, it's an all-day tour to Lantau Island which includes a stop at Tai O Fishing Village. The prices and the crowd density may vary according to the day you plan to visit the village. Prices increase for buses and taxis on weekends and holidays as compared to normal weekdays. Everything is worth it because the peace and serenity you feel at Tai O Fishing Village is priceless and cannot be found anywhere else in the world.

Having a knowledgeable guide would enhance the overall experience by providing insights and ensuring smooth navigation through the city. Thank you so much for the arrangements made by travel triangle. We had an amazing trip. Everything went according to the itinerary. We did not have to face any difficulty and very much satisfied with the services provided by travel triangle. There was a difficulty before departure, the ferry bookings were made incorrectly by our spoc. This is very sad to write but, he did not correct it nor he had a courtesy to call the us and ask whether it is rectified or not. And most importantly, i would like to thank Bijay Kushwaha for the quick support by him. I had contacted him at 11PM regarding the ferry tickets issue. And the very next day he corrected my ferry tickets and sent me the updated tickets. And even he told that we can contact him anytime if any issue is there throughout my journey. This is the support customers need, when making the bookings from travel agency. We had even contacted customer care and whats app group regarding the same issue. But we were told that they can fix this in official hours. When we did not know whether our issue will get resolved or not, as we were supposed to fly within 10-11 hours. We really appreciate Bijay for helping us.

Overall experience is not great. Even though we have started discussing about my trave needs 5 months before my travel dates, we ended-up in travelagenet dropping key locations from my iteranary. Travelagent drama started after full-payment of travel amount. Getting refund was nightmare .. (took more than 4 weeks) that to for the trips which they were not able to book (refer details below). When we requsted for Non-Veg dinner booking.. they endedup booking dinner with Beef and Pork .
