How to Reach Spots for Eating Dim Sums

TAI WING WAH RESTAURANT:

This restaurant is located at Koon Wong Mansion, 2-6 Yuen Long On Ning Road, Hong Kong. There are several locations for Tai Wing Wah but the best one according to the locals is the Yuen Long location. Not much has changed in the restaurant for a really long time. It is very busy, especially in the early hours, you have to line up early for Dim sum because they don’t take reservations. Some of the Dim sums are pushed out in trolleys. If you don’t speak Cantonese, it is recommended to try the Wan Chai branch instead they’re more accustomed to foreigners there.

TIM HO WAN:

TIM HO WAN is easy to reach as it lies near Hong Kong MTR Station, Central. According to travelers, this place is pretty local and serve the traditional Dim sum, which is exactly the way we like our Dim sum. This is a pure, Chinese specialty restaurant and does not deal with any other dishes other than Dim sum. All their restaurants have a bit of a fast food type of environment. They are the most famous for their BBQ pork buns so make sure you do not forget them.

DIMDIMSUM:

This restaurant is located in a beautiful locality of Tin Lok Lane, Wan Chai in Diamond Building.  These restaurants are the perfect places to go if you are introducing yourself to Hong Kong’s version of this Chinese style of cuisine. All the regulars are on the list and they all come at pretty reasonable prices and the quality of the dishes is just excellent.

NEW HING FAT Dim sum:

If you are near Western District then this is the best place to eat Dim sum. You just need to reach Des Voeux Road West and there you are. It is an authentic Hong Kong Dim sum restaurant. The Dim sum selection here is quite substantial given the size of the restaurant. Some of the personal favorites include the delicious steamed custard buns, the crispy shrimp filled rice noodle rolls and pork Siu Mai topped with quail egg. Enjoy eating Dim sums at this place and feel the spirit of Hong Kong.
