By Road: The beautiful temple is located in Besakih Village, which is one of the sub-district of Karangasem. Take the Kusamba Bypass from Sanur to Klungkung and head north, taking a right turn at Menanga. From Menanga, the temple is hard not to be found. The total hours for the journey is about two and a half hours. From the main city of Bali, the temple is about 3 hours away. Hiring a taxi via Catur would get to your destination at the earliest covering over 107 kilometers. From the town of Ubud, the temple is just one and a half away.
