How To Reach Gitgit Waterfall In Bali

The waterfall is located in the Gitgit village of Singaraja.

Finding directions to reach Gitgit waterfall wouldn't be much of a trouble since the landmark is pretty commercial and famous. You could obviously search for Gitgit Waterfall map online, however that couldn't be needed much. If you wish to spend an entire day here, it is recommended to lodge near the area. Nearest locations are Lovina and Ubud.

By Car: Gitgit Waterfall is two hours drive from Ubud and Denpasar. From Besaikh it takes two hours and thirty minutes to reach the destination. You can rely on your GPS device to know about the route. It is suggested you stay at Singaraja for a day if you wish to explore the waterfall as it is just 20 minutes drive from the city center.

By Motorbike: Renting a scooter/bike to explore Gitgit is the best to way if you are traveling solo or with a partner/friend. The cost of renting a bike or scooter costs approximately 60,000 IDR which is around 300 INR approx. Many car rentals are available to take travelers to the waterfall. The rent would cost somewhere around 550,000 IDR which is near about 3000.00 INR.

    First resort that is The Patra Bali villa, was very good, provided expert and professional service. Food was good. Everyone was very supportive. For, secord resort, which is Ubud raya villa, location was not so good, it had too many insects in our bathroom and pool area. It spoilt our holiday vibe. That is a big negative point. But, the staff behaviour of the hotel was very good, they were attentive and very supportive. The staff behaviour won our heart. Also, they provided best and authentic quality food. Drivers were cooperative. Dinner at Jimbaran beach.

    Hello Sakshi...trip was good. The flights were comfortable, inflight meals were tasty, Singapore airport was a tourist destination by itself , where we enjoyed our 13+7 hours layovers. As promised Our cab driver welcomed us at Bali airport, with flowers and a smile. The cab was neat, spacious and comfortable. Ther tour itinerary was followed as planned, and we covered all places except Udub palace and market. There was small ambiguity regarding the cab usage timinigs, which was swiftly cleared by Mr. Manan Chabra and his team. Hotel Swissbelton at Kuta (Anatheera), was classy, though we were not given pool access room there, but was compensated by the good spread of breakfast buffet. The dinner served there was also not bad, but we longed for spiccy indian food which was sparse. Lagoon pool access room at Kori Maharani was grt. except it was more a honeymooners type room, with no privacy for the bathrooms, but the staff made us a makeshift curtain on request. The pool there was good, but with lot of insects and leeches. The floating breakfast was good but the buffet and dining menu were very moderate, compared to Anatheera. Then on the day of our departure, they gave us a big basket of takeaway breakfast which we enjoyed at the airport. Overall it was a good trip. Our spl. thanks to Mr. Nikson, our driver who was a very friendly and cheerful person. We thanked him with a generous tip for his service, before we left. Not to mention you, Sakshi, who patiently bore with us during the planning of itenerary and also tailored our trip as wished by my family at a reasonable price. Big thanks to Sakshi and Minsu for their pre- tour support and Mr. Manan Chabra and team for their on- ground support at destination.
