How to Reach Ponte Vecchio

Ponte Vecchio, the old bridge is the only one across River Arno in Florence until the year 1218. The bridge that exists today was rebuilt in 1345 after a flood. It was the single bridge across Arno so during World War II, the fleeing Germans did not destroy it. They blocked the access to the bridge by demolishing medieval buildings that were present on both sides. The furious flood in 1966 was also withstood by this bridge and it is still a beautiful location one should not miss in their tour to Florence. The view and the experience one gets from this location is indeed exciting. How to reach Ponte Vecchio is a very easy thing the traveler comes across as there are so many options of transport available to this location.

By Walk

Walking in Florence's center is very easy and is an overwhelming experience especially for the tourists. This is the part of the city that offers the best sites and the historic monuments one should visit in their lifetime. The narrow streets, the glamorous stores and antique shops are indeed great to explore on this part of the city. It is not advised to carry a lot of luggage as it can indeed put you in great trouble. It may take one to walk about 9 minutes from the Santa Maria Novella train station which is part of the historic center of Florence.

I was not happy with how few things were co -ordinated . Received the vouchers end moment leaving very little time to review . Infact the train voucher for venice was created for station very far off my hotel while there was a sation just at the walking distance (100m) from my hotel. I had to bear a

n expense of 50 Euro unnecessarlity for the transfer to hotel from station and i expected atleast a partial refund of my loss which never happened . Also, I had paid for the airport transfer for my return flight and its yet not reimbursed or acknowledged over mail. I just hada verbal and wats app communictaion with Yusuf. Regarding the entry tickets- considering Italy was extremely hot Collosium entry tickets were for 12pm noon , it could have been booked for an early evening or morning , I had to skip it as it was unabearbly hot . And there were lot of other gaps which i think should have been well communicated and discussed with me before they purchased the tickets (entry tickets)
