Delhi to Coorg by Air:

Since Coorg doesn't have an airport of its own, the nearest airport to Coorg is either Bangalore, Mysore, and Mangalore. All of these airports cover almost all the major airline services from Delhi, thus, one can easily get flights from Delhi to these airports. From the airport, one can easily hop on a bus or hire a private cab till Coorg. It may take up to 7 hours to travel from Delhi to Bangalore. 

Mangalore Airport is another option for those who are taking flights from New Delhi (DEL) to Madikeri in Coorg. Direct flights from Delhi to Mangalore take about 3 hours to complete the journey. These are easily accessible and available at all three airports. Delhi to Coorg by Train:

Coorg has no railway station of its own and the nearest railway station is Mysore Junction Railway Station. As Delhi to Coorg distance is more than 2,400 km, it takes about 2 days to travel from Delhi to Coorg by train. The train runs once a week (only on Monday) between Delhi and Mysore. Upon reaching Mysore, one can either take a bus or hire a cab to reach Coorg by road in about 3 hours. So one has to travel from Delhi to Mysore by train and further to Coorg by a cab or a bus.
