Chennai To Coorg Distance

Flying is the best way to reach Coorg from Mumbai. However, since Coorg does not have an airport, you can book a flight to the nearest airports: Bangalore, Mysore, and Mangalore, which are 260 km, 120 km, and 160 km from Coorg, respectively. All these airports are well-connected to Mumbai and offer almost all airline services. A direct flight from Mumbai to any of these airports is highly advised because it saves travel time and energy. Flights cover the distance between Mumbai and Coorg in about 1 hour and 35 minutes. Upon reaching these airports, one can easily hop on a bus or hire a private cab, which is easily accessible. A short drive after a comfortable flight, and one has successfully arrived at their destination. So Coorg has no railway station of its own, so how to reach Coorg from Mumbai by train? Multimodal transportation is the answer. The nearest railway station is Mysore Junction, about 107 km away. Alternatively, you can also reach Kozhikode, about 180 km from Coorg. Three trains run from Mumbai to Mysore. Sharavati Express and Humsafar Express run weekly, and Ajmer Mysore Express runs biweekly. After the train journey, one can easily hop on a bus or hire a taxi to Coorg, which is readily available. You can reach your destination within 2-3 hours. One should book their tickets well in advance to avoid any hassle or last-moment troubles and have a beautiful journey on tracks and trails. Travelling by train is also one of the most comfortable and convenient ways how to reach Coorg from Mumbai.

The distance between Mumbai and Coorg is about 1,100 km, and a road journey can take about 17-19 hours. One can book a bus, take a cab, or simply choose to drive. The connectivity is through various national and state highways. Although taking a train or a flight is recommended because of the long hours of journey and tiredness post it, one can still hit the road, and it is all worth it. hotel location is not as expected, it was long away from the hill station, since we were new to the place and unaware of the location, the Traveller should have guided us with the locations (climate, ambience) etc, this was not happened, should improve, we have also had a choice to cancel the current booked hotel to a new hotel in hill station with additional cost cost too, eventhough, the Traveller did not helped, overall, with the help of driver, we went to the places to which he is well versed
