Can one go for open jeep/ mini-bus/ open-top safaris?

No! Since the beginning of 2016, day visit safaris in open-top jeeps and mini-buses have been cancelled. One can take a canter (a 26 seater mini-bus) for safari, provided by the Forest Department at the Damankatte Gate of Kabini.

How can one book a safari or is there an online booking system?

There is no online booking of safaris, that is, one has to manually pay for the safari directly without any pre involved electronic payments.

Is one day sufficient to explore the National Park?

Yes! One day is more than enough to explore the park. One can take the safari, and explore the variety of plants, animals and birds that nature has to offer.
