How to Reach Nagarhole National Park

The nearest airport to Nagarhole National Park is Mysore Airport, located at a distance of around 98 km. Thus, one can easily hire a taxi and reach the park from all of the major cities of India. Besides that, the nearest international airport is Bangalore Airport, situated at a distance of around 236 km.

The nearest railway station is Mysore Junction (MYS) which is located at a distance of 80 kms from the park. With regular train availability, one can easily reach to Nagarhole National Park in  Coorg from other cities while hiring a taxi or bus from the station.

As the park is well-connected to many towns and cities of the state of Karnataka, one can reach Nagarhole National Park via taking a bus, such as KSRTC Buses. With daily private buses operating from Bangalore and Mysore to HD Kote bus station, this place can be reached after covering the distance of mere 30 kms. For one’s personal comfort and as per one’s convenience, another option is hiring a direct cab/ taxi to the park.

hotel location is not as expected, it was long away from the hill station, since we were new to the place and unaware of the location, the Traveller should have guided us with the locations (climate, ambience) etc, this was not happened, should improve, we have also had a choice to cancel the current booked hotel to a new hotel in hill station with additional cost cost too, eventhough, the Traveller did not helped, overall, with the help of driver, we went to the places to which he is well versed
