The magnificent site of Hampi in Karnataka was the last capital of the last great Hindu Kingdom of Vijayanagar. Its spectacularly rich Dravidian temples and palaces won the admiration of travelers between the 14th and 16th centuries, as they still do. By Air

However, there is no airport in Hampi, the nearest airport to Hampi is Jindal Vijaynagar Airport in Vidyanagar, which is an hour’s drive from Hampi. Kcg Yesvantpur Junction Express (17603), Mysore Junction Snsi Express (16217), and Hampi Express (16592) are among the most frequent Bangalore to Hampi trains that connect the two places. After reaching the Hospet railway station, one can hire a taxi or cab to reach Hampi. The first train from Bangalore to Hospet is at 00:00 AM, which is Kcg Yesvantpur Junction Express (17603) followed by Mysore Junction Snsi Express (16217) which leaves at 07:30 AM. The last train from Bangalore to Hospet is at 20:35 PM, which is Hampi Express (16592).

By Road

 

Bangalore to Hampi distance is almost 352 km that can be easily covered on road in almost 7 hours’ time. Several KSRTC Bangalore to Hampi buses ply on daily basis - both AC and non-ac. Also there are other private operators who run daily from Bangalore to Hampi by road, dropping tourists at Hospet, from where, they can easily reach Hampi. From Hospet town to Hampi, one can either take an auto-rickshaw or catch local bus (every 30 minutes) from the KSRTC bus station.     The Akshay palace is not even a 2 star hotel The washrooms was unclean The bed smelled of urine Breakfast / lunch area was also unclean. On top of it a very small room for 4 people. Overall not a good hotel. Jungle hill resort A good hotel to stay. Very good staff. Food options are very limited.
    They have only 1 cook. Driver Excellent driver Sunil Shetty. Very knowledgeable. And is very polite and gentleman

    website wont allow me to rate low, it wont allow me to submit rating unless i give good rating.(I have a video proof to prove about this rating scam) Terrible experience with dream yatra agency from Travel Triangle, after completion of my trip on march 11, I got calls from some transport team on 15
    th March saying the agency didnot pay the balance amount to them, even though everything was paid to agency before trip itself. transport team called me frequently saying agency is not responding to them. when i tried to contact Rakesh from Dream yatra I could not connect via call to his number, later when I finally got touch with him on whatsapp and told him the transport is calling me frequently, he was so rude, told me to inform the transport team myself that payment will be released on monday which is his duty. He later told me directly not to call him again for this matter even though transport team is calling me frequently for update. Is that a customer duty to take care of bills to third party even after paying everything to agency?? such a unprofessional agency it is. and this portal wont let me submit the review unless i give good star rating to agency what kind of a stupid service is this.
