How To Reach Pathiramanal Island In Kumarakom

If you are wondering how to reach Pathiramanal when on your vacation to Kumarakom, then your best options would be by boat. Located in the center of Vembanad Lake, the Pathiramanal Bird Sanctuary is a much loved and very popular site for nature lovers and bird watchers. Take advantage of the Pathiramanal boat service to get there. You can spend half a day here, enjoying the lush greenery around you. There are also several nature trails to embark on, along with a couple of places to sit and enjoy a picnic at.

If you are wondering how to reach Pathiramanal Island from Alleppey then the best way is to take the jetty, which covers a distance of 13 kms within a couple of hours. If you are coming to the island from Muhamma, then the boat jetty takes no more than 15 minutes covering a distance of almost 2 kms. If you are coming from Kumarakom, then the distance by the jetty is around 4 kms, taking no more than half an hour. The jetty has fixed timings, which more or less keeps the same timing. These fixed timings of the jetty change from season to season, depending on what time it gets dark during the evenings, so plan accordingly.
