With a large network of inland canals earning it the sobriquet "Venice of the east", Alleppey is one of the most important tourist centers in the state. Alleppey is the ideal headquarters for backwater tourism as well as for visits to the lovely church filled town of Kottayam. The tropical village is also famous for its historic Aranmula Snake Boat Race which is an annual event. When I reached kochi and called driver,he said no bookings are there for him.we were shocked and asked agent about what happens, then she arranged driver and send.b

ut she didn’t informed driver about toll fee and parking charges are included in package so driver asked us parking charges,so we had to pay double. Except this issue everything was smooth.

Trip was fine. But hotel "the view munnar" was not good at all as the Lift was not working and 1st day there was no water supply in bathroom. Cab was good and the next hotel "pagoda " was very nice. Maximum things were not covered in the package. They say site seeing is covered but later the local

ites asked to book a jeep for further sight seeing. The best part was the art show(Kathakali and kalaripattu) and alleppey boat ride , which was not covered in the package. We had to pay separately for that.
