1] All Hotel were good except bamboo creak at thekkdy. We didn't got hot water for bath over there. 2] Package with all the inclusion like jeep safari , boating at poovar can be good option. (Obviously extra money can be charged for this) Incase if agent have such plan he didn't shared information about it. 3)At beginning of journey itinerary print must be provided to driver as well as travellers so as to understand the plan in detail. 4]Drinking water must be provided during the journey because sometime journey is at remote location 5] Efforts by travel agent was good to get this tour happen Cab and Driver was very nice. All journey was awesome specially house boat.Aameer Husain

This was our first trip with Travel Triangle and it was the best trip. Travel agent has made every arrangement perfect and as committed. The driver was very friendly and helpful. There was small issue in Thekkady we had. The hotel was far from city area and has off road track. It was not easy to drive a car on the road but still our driver made sure that we reached there safely. Also upon arriving there we found that hotel has no facility for driver. Even travel agent was also not aware about surroundings of hotel. That caused us the trouble. Apart from this our trip was fantastic. Thank youPanchal Soham

Anilsinha's 6 days trip to Kumarakom
My wife and I generally enjoyed the whole trip. The cab driver behavior did put us off as he wanted to control our trip. The hotel in Kovalam was below our expectation. We enjoyed the Houseboat stay a lot. The Munnar hotel could have done better. Finely, the stay in Kochi was enjoyed a lot. On the whole, Kerala, the area we visited, is so nice and beautiful. The trip was worth the effort.Tanupriya Bhasin

FAQ's of Kumarakom
Read on to find out why our customers love us!
Kumarakom condenses the essence of a holiday in Kerala. Home to Kerala's biggest backwater, Vembanad lake, spending time on a houseboat is a must. The Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary is also an important spot for tourists along with Aruvikkuzhi Waterfall. The Maya Spa is well reputed for it's Ayurvedic massages and the traditional art forms of Kathakali and Kalaripayattu can be found and enjoyed here as well.
Kumarakom is a rich hub for boating and as such, there are many different kinds of boats here. Especially impressive are the snake boats, which are boats that are also used in boat races. In the months of August and September, there are various boat races which are unique to Kumarakom and an exciting spectacle to behold.
Kumarakom is home to the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary which is an excellent location for photographers that are interested in birding. A large number of rare, migratory birds can be found here. Kumarakom beach is also an excellent place for photography and the Aruvikkuzhi waterfalls deserve a mention as well.
Kumarakom was involved in many of the fights for supremacy between the local kings in Kerala. There are still remains of a fort wall in Kumarakom. The Taj hotel building also has a piece of history attached to it. The bungalow was built by a British man called Alfred. G. Baker whose family lived there for the next 4 generations and influenced a lot of the things that happened in the area. It was a ruin after they left until the Taj Group took over and converted it into the luxury resort it is now.
Two of the major catches for the fishermen in Kumarakom are the Karimeen, also known as the Pearl Spot and shrimp. Many of the local delicacies are based around the two with one of the most popular dishes being the Karimeen Pollichathu, which is grilled Karimeen wrapped in a banana leaf after being prepared with rich spices.
